Murray County Jail up in Georgia has an urgent need for King James Bibles and Christian literature for the hundreds of inmates they have there

Back in March of this year, we answered a Bible request from Chaplain Larry Styles at the Whitfield County Jail Ministry in Georgia, a group of retired volunteers who go into the jails on a regular basis and minister to the inmates with prayer, bible teaching, preaching, and of course giving them a copy of the preserved word of God. We sent them right around 500 King James Bibles, and now the need is growing in the North Georgia area, in fact it’s exploding, and the Lord is tapping us to answer the call!

“Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.“ John 15:8 (KJB)

Today I received an email from Pastor Rick at the New Life Baptist Church in Dalton, and he wrote to thank us for sending all those Bibles to Whitfield. Then he told me about the greater need that they have up there. He said this: “First of all I want to thank you for the KJV Bibles your graciously gave to the inmates. They are going out and we do see a results of the Word of God working in these men. Our Church provides good KJV Bible studies to the inmates along with your Bibles. Praise God we are seeing men saved and growing through the lessons and mainly God’s Word. We have another need I would like to share with you. There are 4 churches involved in the Jail ministry at the Murray County Jail, neighboring county to Whitfield. Our church is one of them.  Is it possible that we could get KJV Bibles for Murray County? It would be a tremendous blessing as we go in to preach if all the inmates had their own copy of God’s Word. Please let me know if this is something you could help us with. I am just now learning about your ministry and it thrills my heart to read the great things God is doing through you to reach those behind bars. May God richly bless you.” Fruit, more fruit and much fruit, it doesn’t get any better than that!

From a Men’s prison in Texas to a tiny Baptist church well off the beaten path, requests for King James Bibles continue to light up our inbox on a daily basis

We received a handwritten note from an inmate currently housed in the Mark W. Michael Unit in Texas, name withheld, writing to us saying he had heard about Bibles Behind Bars and wanted to know if he could get a Ruckman Reference Bible sent to him at the prison. We have reached out to the chaplain there for permission, not just to send one Bible, but as many as he thinks they might need for their facility. The other letter comes from a longtime listener Gary who attends a tiny little church in Aubrey, Texas called Antioch Baptist, wanting to know if we could replace their NIV bibles with KJVs. You know what that is? That’s the Free Bible Program and Bibles Behind Bars standing side by side.

“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!” Isaiah 52:7 (KJB)

NTEB listener Gary M wrote and said “I am writing to you regarding your free Bible program. I attend a church with a small congregation. Just how we like it. It is a remnant church with no more than 30 parishioners on a good day. I have been attending Antioch for about a year and I noticed when I came here they only had NIV bibles in the pews. I discussed this with the pastor and he directed me to inventory the Bibles we have in hand. I told him I would like to remove the NIV Bibles and replace them with 1611 KJVs and to also have a few extras on hand to give to those in need who do not have a Bible of their own. We are in need of approximately 50 Bibles. It would be a blessing to us, our church, our congregation, and our community if you would be able to help us in this regard. Thank you for all you do.” We are the remnant Church, no doubt about that, and our Free Bible Program and Bibles Behind Bars are the supply lines in this end times fight. From a rough and tumble Texas prison, to a tiny little 19th-century Baptist Church on the backside of nowhere housing the remnant, the need for copies of the preserved word of the Lord has never been greater. Sammy Gravano was in and out of prison long before Bibles Behind Bars was raised up, but every day we give King James Bibles to inmates just like he was

When I first watched the video of Sammy “The Bull” Gravano getting baptized, it brought tears to my eyes and the look on his face absolutely genuine and right in line with what you’d expect to see in a brand-new baby Christian who just got saved. Then I went back to listen to the entire story, and my heart sank a little as I heard Gravano talking about his testimony which, the longer I listened to it, the shakier it got. Then, at 13:02 minutes into the video, paydirt, Sammy said he needed forgiveness and redemption (that’s it!) for the deeds done in his life, and that he acknowledged that Jesus Christ (That’s it again!) was the only place to get it. Praise the Lord, Sammy The Bull got saved! This is one of the reasons why Bibles Behind Bars is so very important in these last days.

“And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.” Acts 22:4 (KJB)

Sammy Gravano was in and out of prison long before Bibles Behind Bars was raised up by the Lord, but hardened criminal inmates just like Gravano are behind bars right now, and if Sammy The Bull can get saved, they can too. To date, we have record of nearly 700 inmates who have gotten saved by believing the gospel and given a Bible from Bibles Behind Bars. 700! And many of them are men just as wicked and as vile as Gravano, just as wicked and vile as you and I were when we came to the Lord to get saved. Right now, the Carson City Correctional Center in Michigan is surrounded by double fences with razor-ribbon wire and two gun towers. Electronic detection systems and patrol vehicles are also utilized to maintain perimeter security. And guess what? Chaplain Lonny there has reached out and asked us for Bibles to give to as many of their 2,300 inmates as we are able to provide. The total for that many Bibles is $8,257.00 if you were wondering. Christian, if we’re not working to see people get saved, then why are we here?

Come help us to send King James Bibles, books and Christian literature to every jail and prison that asks us, and pray the Lord that many more like Sammy The Bull will get saved.
