Calling Harold Camping Out For Being a Liar and a False Prophet
We firmly believe that Harold Camping has crossed the line from being passionately mistaken to becoming a full-fledged false prophet. Now I know that nothing we can say here will dissuade his rabid followers, and that’s fine. But we are going on record and calling Mr. Camping a false prophet, and a worker against the Holy Spirit of the God of the bible.

NO MAN knows the DAY or the HOUR
“But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” Matthew 24:36
Jesus could not have been more clear when He said that NO MAN can know the day or the hour of His return. No one. Not the apostles, the prophets, the church, the Jews, not even the angels in Heaven. Not even Himself. Only ONE PERSON knows when the Rapture will occur. God the father. End of story. Only it’s not the end of the story for people whose egos are so large that it they have to be followed around with a U Haul behind them. The bible calls these vainly, self-important people “false prophets”, and “deceivers”. The latest of these biblical jackasses to make a stand is Harold Camping from Family Radio.
May 11, 2011 is not the end of the world
They say that a broken watch is still right twice a day, so in that regard, yes, the Rapture could occur on May 21, 2011. But if it does, you can rest assured that nothing and I repeat nothing contained in Harold Camping’s writings in any way was ascertained from bible study. Mr. Camping’s “prophecy” is a convoluted mish-mash of numbers and nonsense that leads you into a ditch from any angle you approach it from. Some of you may recall his earlier failed attempt to predict the Rapture back in 1994. Then as now, he had his pliable faithful purchase ads and billboards, like the one you see here, to proclaim a truth that happens to be false.
NTEB calls you out, Mr. Camping
The first time he tried this, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, begrudgingly. Now it is obvious that he is just an egomanical lair, who will say and do anything for attention. And the people who follow him should be ashamed for putting the words of (a deluded) man over the clear, revealed truth of the Lord.
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3,4
We will be here waiting for you, Mr. Camping, on May 22nd, when you will be finally exposed as the fraud and phony that you are. And remember this, dear Christian friends, it is not about how well you start the race of faith that we are all in. It’s how well you finish.
Looking unto Jesus, not man
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1,2
