Congress Slithering Free From Orwellian Obamacare Mandate

| August 7, 2013

Congress leaves Obamacare to the suckers

The travesty of Obamacare, this illegal tax foisted upon the American people, is such a nightmare that even Congress, who passed it, doesn’t want to live with it or have to pay the costs associated with it. So if millionaire Congressmen can’t afford it, what do you think will happen to YOU?

REUTERS: Congress has partially wriggled free from the “Obamacare” health reforms that it passed and subjected itself to three years ago.

In a ruling issued on Wednesday, U.S. lawmakers and their staffs will continue to receive a federal contribution toward the health insurance that they must purchased through soon-to-open exchanges created by President Barack Obama’s signature healthcare law.

The decision by the Office of Personnel Management, with Obama’s blessing, will prevent the largely unintended loss of healthcare benefits for 535 members of the Senate and House of Representatives and thousands of Capitol Hill staff.

When Congress passed the health reform law known as “Obamacare” in 2010, an amendment required that lawmakers and their staff members purchase health insurance through the online exchanges that the law created. They would lose generous coverage under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program.

The amendment’s author, Republican Senator Charles Grassley, argued that if Obamacare plans were good enough for the American public, they were good enough for Congress. Democrats, eager to pass the reforms, went along with it.

But it soon became apparent the provision contained no language that allowed federal contributions toward their health plans that cover about 75 percent of the premium costs.

This caused fears that staff would suddenly face sharply higher healthcare costs and leave federal service, causing a “brain drain” on Capitol Hill.

But Wednesday’s ruling from the OPM, the federal government’s human resources agency, means that Congress will not have to fully live with the reform language that it created - just as Republicans are trying frantically to delay or defund the program.

The OPM said the federal contributions will be allowed to continue for plans purchased on the new online health insurance exchanges, ensuring that Capitol Hill employees will effectively get the same health contributions as millions of other federal employees who are not being thrown onto the exchanges. source – Reuters

One person contacting their senator or congressman regarding this issue will do no good. But, all of us, addressing them collectively, {I hate that word} might make them listen. We need a voice to speak for us. Does anyone know who to contact, that would help us? Probably not the ACLU, but someone must be able to help us. Suggestions??

    • Gun Owners of America is asking its email update recipients and its members to send an email (pre-written) to their Senators and Representatives. Check them out a http://www.gunowners.org The LEAD article on the Homepage is ‘Repealing the Anti-Gun Obamacare Law’. Look for the headline “Whether we win or lose on Anti-Gun Obamacare is our choice”. That will take you to a link to send your reps/Senators an email

It’s been over a week since the Pope publically said he did not have the moral authority to condemn homosexuals, and Now The End Begins has yet to run a single story on it. Why is this?

    • Teresa B says:

Hi Anon, I also look at a Catholic Website because they are as passionate about Jesus as we are, and I wanted to just know them. They are still covering this and no one has that interrpation. sp old age and no tecki. I took it to mean as they do that if you are abstinent searching for the Lord he will not judge. The news took that to mean another thing. I think you would have to read the 100s of letters to see what I mean. Do I think that was right? No, and neither do some of them for this reason. It leaves the door open. I probly didn’t say this right, I was just sayin Have a nice eve

  3. Why? We have already reported on the new pope to a very high degree. The Catholic church has always been soft on homosexuals, and I think their veiled Pro-Gay position is well-known…after all, an astonishingly-high percentage of priests are gay. Is this really news?

    • Anon says:

NTEB, your reply doesn’t ring true at all. Within the same time period, you’ve had seven articles on Obama, two of which focused on equally well-known Benghazi attacks. If the beating of this dead horse is still news, a Pope publicly stating a general acceptance of homosexuals for the first time should have stopped proverbial presses.

      • Teresa B says:

I would rather see a collection of diff subject rather than daily Obama stuff. He did not state that exactly interpretation, went round the bush is what he did.

I spent time w a man yrs ago who went to Africa and Preached. He said 1000s would WALK hrs to hear him they were so hungry for God. That’s what we need here a Revelation! What else are we going to do that’s Physical. We can pray behind closed doors, but we need a March on Washington. Christians for God

  5. Lake of Fire for ALL OF THEM!!

    • Teresa B says:

AGREED I fear no one will vote and give up. That’s why Christians have to march on Washington. We are out of time. It has worked before, but now the Police would shoot us or arrest us. Are we standing up for the Lord or a Principal. God has to do w the Principal, but that’s where I get lost. Have a nice eve

      • Ilona says:

Teresa B, Did you go to Washington when the Tea Party marched?

        • Teresa B says:

Hi, no I am in Colorado and I don’t know if I would go w them either. I want Followers of Christ that have no agenda I guess. I am not educated enough converse door to door, I just know what is right or wrong! But I can wave signs, or hang things on doors! I don’t know what else we are going to do in the Political sense. Having said all that, I follow NWO, Agenda 21 for yrs, and it really doesn’t matter. WH is a puppet no matter. So unless we all get on our knees we won’t elect anyone different. It was pointed out to me by a Christian who quit voting that we are a Godless Govt and it is true. Thank you for writing, have a nice evening

typical servants acting like elitists. they’ll ram it down our throats but it aint good enough for them. if o-bum-a thinks its so good, he should sign up for it!

  7. The public has not been told of course. Regardless of the name, Hitlery care, Obamacare, whatever is not relevent. The fact that the bill contains the mark of the beast system within it, is however just about everything that says it all.
As the economy shifts from manufacturing to the extremely monitored internet consumerism, the groundwork for the biometric system has been prepared.

  8. STL says:

Has anyone notice that their are many on this NTEB web site lately, I had over 400 posts this morning!

    • Teresa B says:

I sure did, it was pretty much the same group for days,or weeks, and then the other day I opened it up and VOILA! It doesn’t seem to have let up, a good thing

  9. So, they told us they would be just a subject to the law as we are, but just before it comes time to practice what they preach, the squirm out from under – and leave US holding the bag.

They are all lying deceivers who voted for that law, literally the spawn of Satan.

  10. Obamacare probably makes me sadder than all of the rest of the BO changes combined. Not because it is the most important but because it exemplifies the pervasiveness of the problem the most. It is the most horrible example of the corruption in Washington, the selfishness of the voter, the lack of investment by most people in the process, the lies and everything else. It is the issue that makes me feel like we are in Nazi Germany more than anything else. I know there is no hope of anything good until the Lord returns but this one makes my heart break every time I think about it. Part of the hypocrisy here is that the legislators got this exemption for themselves by claiming it was unfair to their staff…but they were more than happy to get the exemption for themselves. What a dishonest, self-serving bunch we have making our laws.

    • Teresa B says:

Hi One nice to see you again. You are so right, my friend grew up in Romania under Communism, has been here about 20 yrs and tells me awful stories of syping on ea other, she has a total fit, wants to go home is so sad. We can be at a garage sale and she will flat tell you, she is a strong Christian and I am so glad she is so bold for Christ and for the Constitution. Have a nice eve

  11. D’mitru Duduman, who was a missionary TO the US from Romania, came here to try to awaken the American church to its need to awaken from its sleep. He spent over 20 years here trying to make so-called Christians understand their complacency and need to either get hot or cold, to either KILL the leaven in their hearts of chill it to dormancy. He died trying.

His grandson, Michael Boldea, took up his grandfather’s mantel and preached 10 years going to churches for the same purpose while watching the American church become the world. He finally gave up on it and went back to where the Christians, who lived under great persecution, were actually Christian and not wishy-washy, mealy-mouthed piles of Silly Putty. He shook the dust off his feet and went back to Romania.

For the most part, American Churchianity is dead. James 1.21-25:
Jas 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
Jas 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Jas 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
Jas 1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
Jas 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

If you ain’t doing it, obeying the Word, you are dead.

I played for 6 mo lessons age 11. Mom made me practice an hr a day. She quit because I changed the music and it made her mad. It is my fav. look up Peter Kater he is under New Age because of style but he just rolls over keyboard! I sold my Piano and keyboard as I never played them, am so sorry I did. No one ones Pianos anymore, so the young man was a musician on keyboard and he WANTED a Piano! I was so thrilled. I bought my Grandaughtr a Mandolin yrs ago, but she took up drums which is w Piano, as well as Sax, found it the other day. Was going to sell it and call me crazy, but I will need some music in my FEMA stall! Blessings

  16. Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea
shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her
ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched
her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but
    I had to tell someone!
