TEHRAN (Reuters) – About 100 people were injured when an earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale hit northeastern Iran on Thursday, state television reported. The epicenter of the quake, which struck at 4:05 p.m., was 10 km (6 miles) outside the city of Neyshabur, some 70 km from the holy city of Mashhad, the official IRNA news agency said.

There had so far been 36 aftershocks since the main quake, IRNA said, adding that some buildings had been damaged and windows shattered in villages near Neyshabur.

“So far 100 people have been injured. Most of them were treated quickly and some have been hospitalized,” state television quoted a local official as saying, adding that rescue workers were in the area.

The news agency ILNA reported that the quake lasted seven seconds and was the strongest felt in the region for 10 years.

Many parts of Iran are prone to earthquakes. At least seven people were killed in a 6.5-magnitude quake that jolted the southeast in 2010, the same region where a huge tremor killed some 31,000 people in the city of Bam in 2003. source – Yahoo News

United Nations General Assembly Expected To Upgrade Palestinian Statehood Status As United Arab Emirates Prepare Resolution To Advance

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is expected to upgrade the Palestinian status at the UN, granting it almost all statehood rights within its plenum short of allowing it to vote.

The world draws closer and closer to the forced creation of a Palestinian state that the Old Testament prophets said would exist in the last days. This is where we are, right now, as you read this. Your King James Bible is the only one that shows you a living, breathing, literal, actual state of Palestine in the end times. The corrupt versions like the ESV, NIV, LSB and even the compromiser’s favorite, the NKJV, all erase the word Palestine and Palestina from their texts. But your King James 1611 357 is fully-loaded, aim and ready to fire. Pull the trigger.

“Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;” Joel 3:4 (KJB)

“The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.” Exodus 15:14 (KJB)

Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent’s root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.” Isaiah 14:29 (KJB)

Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestinaart dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.” Isaiah 14:31 (KJB)

Aren’t you glad that you have a Bible you can trust? Why do all the modern versions erase the words ‘Palestine’ and ‘Palestine’ and replace them with ‘Philistines’ and ‘Philistia’? Because in 2024 there is no nation anywhere on this Earth called Philistia, they leave you stuck back in the past with the prophetic links broken. But my King James Bible clearly shows me a land called Palestine in 2024, a land that will be created very soon when Israel is parted by her enemies. The modern versions will never tell you that.

UNGA expected to upgrade Palestinian statehood status

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: The United Arab Emirates is expected to submit a resolution, a draft text of which was seen by The Jerusalem Post, calling on the United Nations Security Council to grant Palestine full membership status in the UN.

The text, which is likely to have majority support, states that “Palestine is qualified for membership in the United Nations in accordance with article 4 of the Charter and should therefore be admitted to membership in the United Nations.”

The Palestinian Authority, through the UAE, turned to the General Assembly after the United States vetoed its membership application to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) last month. The US is one of five permanent UNSC members with veto power. The UAE resolution “recommends” that the Security Council “reconsider the matter favorably,” but in essence, its text seeks to circumvent the UNSC’s sole power to determine UN membership.

According to the current draft of the resolution, this Friday, the UNGA would grant Palestine the right to operate within its plenum as a member state, granting it almost everything but the right to vote, which would need UNSC approval.

The resolution affirms “the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, including the right to their independent State of Palestine.” In practice, the State of Palestine could be seated among the member states and be granted broad rights to address the plenum on its behalf or that of groups.

The Palestinians could submit resolutions, proposals, and amendments on their own behalf or on behalf of groups within the UN system. If the resolution is approved, the Palestinians could also participate in high-level meetings and international conferences, where they would have voting rights.

Western states, especially the United States, have opposed unilateral recognition of Palestinian statehood, believing that it should be granted upon completion of a final status peace agreement for the two states. Given that negotiations for a two-state resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have been frozen for a decade and in light of the Gaza war, there is growing support among Western states for unilateral Palestinian statehood. Iran has launched waves of drones to attack Israel that are set to hit within hours, in ‘Operation True Promise’ as Jordan and Syria declare state of emergency

As we’ve have been telling you for weeks now, Israel was on the verge of waging war on three fronts after already knee-deep in fighting with Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Tonight front number three officially opened as Iran launched dozens of drones that are on their way to Israel right now. All Israel is on lockdown, with residents listening for the sound of air raid sirens that will signal their rush to the safety of bomb shelters.

“I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.” Isaiah 46:13 (KJB)

Iran is calling it ‘Operation True Promise’, and their Revolutionary Guards Corps have stated that Operation ‘True Promise’ is a response to Israeli actions and is part of their strategy to punish Israel for its perceived crimes. According to two regional security sources, Jordan has positioned its air defenses to intercept and destroy any Iranian drones or aircraft that breach its airspace. These sources further indicated that the army is on high alert, with radar systems actively monitoring drone movements. Jordan has also declared a state of emergency in the country. Syria is also on issued an alert and has placed its Russian-made Pantsir ground-to-air defence systems on high alert around the capital and major bases, according to army sources.

Iran launches drone attack on Israel: Israeli military is put on full alert, with warplanes scrambled and school trips cancelled – with two drone waves set to arrive in hours as war in the Middle East threatens to spiral out of control

FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: Dozens of drones were seen flying from Iran over neighbouring Iraq’s Sulaymaniya province, according to three security sources. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said via state media that it had ‘launched extensive drone strikes against targets in occupied territories.’

Israel said tonight that its airspace was shutting down at 12:30am local time. Iraq also announced it was shutting down its airspace and suspending all air traffic on Saturday.

Iranian media reported that a second wave of drones has been launched, though details of where they currently are aren’t yet known.   The IDF’s spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, said it would take several hours for the drones to arrive in Israel, adding that sirens would be sounded in threatened areas.

The IDF said: ‘The air defense array is on high alert at the same time as the Air Force planes and Navy ships that are on a mission to protect the country’s skies. The IDF is monitoring all targets.

‘We ask the public to adhere to and follow the instructions of the Home Front Command and the official IDF announcements regarding the matter.’ It was reported today that Iran has more than 100 cruise missiles ready to be launched as part of an ‘imminent’ strike against Israel in retaliation for an airstrike against Iran’s embassy in Damascus, Syria.

Announcing increased security measures in Israel during a televised briefing, chief military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said dozens of combat planes were airborne as part of the state of readiness. Starting from 11pm tonight, the strict measures, which include the ban of all ‘educational activities’ across the country, the restriction of working in offices without ‘standard protected spaces’ and limits on the number of people at gatherings’, will be implemented.

Educational activities have been banned across the country, while restrictions on working have been put in place on areas directly next to the Gaza Strip, and other areas in the Gaza Envelope.

Israelis living on the areas next to the Gaza Strip have been banned from meeting outside in groups of more than 30, and are allowed to meet up to 300 people inside buildings. Beaches in the Gaza Envelope have also been closed to the public.  READ MORE

The U.S. has warned Israel that an attack by Iran is “imminent” and could happen as early as Saturday. Iran says the attack will be “retaliation” for an airstrike in Syria that killed several high-ranking Iranian military members. The U.S. has said it will back Israel and when asked if Biden had a message for Iran on Friday, the president simply said, “Don’t!”

Iran Puts 100 Cruise Missiles In Place, United States Moves Destroyers Around The Red Sea As Israel Awaits ‘Imminent’ Incoming Attack From Tehran

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

Iran has reportedly readied more than 100 cruise missiles as part of an ‘imminent’ strike on Israel after the US moved more forces into the Middle East over fears an attack could spark a full-scale war.

The United States right now is absolutely expecting that Iran will unleash a potentially devastating attack on Israel, so much so that it has positioned aircraft carries and destroyers to defend the Jewish state. I cannot seem to recall the last time that America was in such a position to not only defend Israel, but to be on the front lines with them before the attack took place. You can tell it’s an election year for sure.

“For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.” Psalm 89:18 (KJB)

Earlier, Iranian special forces seized control of a ship in the Strait of Hormuz linked to Israeli interests to show they are intent are getting revenge for the Israeli strike on their Embassy in Damascus. But the question is, do they want revenge so badly they are willing to also have to deal with the assembled naval might of the United States? Maybe yes, maybe no, we shall see just how much of an appetite they have. Israel, for their part, is locked, loaded and ready to fight.

Iran readies more than 100 cruise missiles and drones for deadly Israel strike, US intelligence officials reveal, as Pentagon moves aircraft carrier into the Red Sea amid fears of full-scale war

FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: Military officials briefed on the matter told both ABC News and CNN that the US has observed Iran readying at least 100 cruise missiles, indicating they could be ready to attack. ABC also reported that a large number of drones that could be used in an attack on Israel have also been readied by the nation.

Pentagon officials said the US would beef up its presence in the region and the USS Dwight Eisenhower would be sent into the Red Sea in a warning to Tehran.

Iran has publicly threatened to hit back at Israel over an attack in Syria last week, which Tehran say was an Israeli airstrike on a Iranian diplomatic building in Damascus. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei vowed retribution in the wake of the Damascus attack, for which Tel-Aviv has yet to take responsibility.

US Defense officials on Friday said they are moving ‘additional assets to the area’, hours after the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem locked down it’s staff. The USS Dwight Eisenhower would be able to intercept missiles and drones fired by Iran.

President Biden said on Friday that he expected Iran to attack Israel ‘sooner than later’ and that his message to Tehran was ‘don’t’.

‘We are devoted to the defense of Israel. We will support Israel and help defend Israel and Iran will not succeed,’ Biden said.

Asked how imminent an attack on Israel may be, Biden said he didn’t want to get into classified information but ‘my expectation is sooner than later.’

Former President Trump called Biden ‘pretty pathetic’ and claimed that had he been in office Iran wouldn’t be attacking Israel.

Trump said: ‘For the president of our country to actually put out a warning that he thinks that we’re going to be attacked or they’re going to be attacked. That’s pretty pathetic. They wouldn’t be attacking Israel if I were president, that I can tell you,’ he continued. ‘And they never did.’

Israel was widely blamed for an April 1 attack that destroyed Iran’s consulate building in Damascus and killed seven Revolutionary Guards, including the two generals. The strike levelled a five-story building adjacent to the Iranian embassy in Damascus. Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warned Wednesday that Israel ‘must be punished and will be punished’, days after one of his advisers said Israeli embassies are ‘no longer safe’. Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz swiftly replied on social media site X that ‘if Iran attacks from its territory, Israel will respond and attack Iran’.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to respond with force to any assault by Iran, leaving tensions in the Middle East on a knife-edge. Defense officials on Friday said they are moving ‘additional assets to the area’, hours after the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem locked down it’s staff. READ MORE

Israel is preparing for the possibility of an imminent attack by Iran. CBS News has learned that the Pentagon has repositioned a Navy destroy in the region, joining another warship that is already there.
