Thou Art Mad by Dr. Aaron Cowgill
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJB)
In the book of Acts, a young girl was trying to convince others of what she had seen, to which they replied, “Thou art mad.” The Jews claimed of Jesus Christ: “He hath a devil, and is mad.” Jesus Christ was labeled both a liar and a lunatic throughout his earthly ministry. From an innocent, little girl up to the Lord Jesus Christ himself, throughout all ages, people have been accused of being either insane, devil possessed, or both. It is time to address this issue from a balanced position and answer the question: What does God say about mental health?
