Why would God care who is president of the most powerful nation on Earth? Because Daniel says that it is God who sets up kings, and takes down kings.
“And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:” Daniel 2:21 (KJV)
When the primary race for GOP presidential candidate began over a year and a half ago, I watched with bemused interest. I had already stopped voting after repeated Republican lies promising to repeal Obamacare at election time, but after we voted them in they obviously had no intention of keeping that promise. So I stopped voting.
I didn’t really have much interest in the 2016 campaign, figuring more of the same “vote for me” lies, and I was to determined not to take the bait this time. But well I remember that awesome moment when then-candidate Trump promised that he would move the United States Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. How exciting!
Not only did that grab my interest, it also grabbed the attention of millions of other like-minded Christians who would love to see that even take place. On the Sunday before the election, Ivanka Trump told a crowd of Jewish votes in south Florida that her father “100% guarantees” moving the Embassy to Jerusalem. And with that, it would seem, Donald Trump would be a shoo-in for president. And guess what? He was.
In my article, written on February 13, 2016, entitled “WHY A BIBLE BELIEVER IS SUPPORTING DONALD TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES“, I predicted that Trump would not only win, but win in a landslide. And guess what? He did. Did I have some “secret knowledge”, some inside track to be able to make this bold prediction that people at the time mocked me for? Yes, I did.
Pat Buchanan: Trump is ‘perpetrator of the chaos’ in the White House
God revealed to me, as He does with so much of the articles I write, that Donald Trump was His man for the White House. Just as God allowed Barack Obama to win twice as judgment on America, God revealed to me that Donald Trump was going to be used to start the “global shaking” as judgment on the world. Why would God care who is president of the most powerful nation on Earth? Because Daniel says that it is God who sets up kings, and takes down kings. And I believe that.
And now we have arrived at what just may be the reason for the seemingly-unstoppable crumbling of the Trump White House.
Back in June, an incredible opportunity presented itself to President Trump. He was going to be in Israel as they celebrated the combined 50th anniversaries of both the miraculous victory of the Six Day War, and the reunification of east and west Jerusalem. Could there possible be a better time or place to announce the moving of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem? No, there could not. Hollywood could not have scripted it better, and here it was actually happening in real life.
Only it didn’t happen.
President Trump did not keep his promise to move the Embassy, much to the disappoint of millions of Christians who had voted for him. Trump gave a speech in Israel that day, with all the usual “no better ally” platitudes, but rhetoric is not promise keeping. Not by a long shot.
Ever since then failing to keep that promised, it seems to me, that President Trump and his administration has gone from one blunder to another. Whereas before it seemed like he couldn’t miss, now he can’t seem to get a hit. Almost like he lost his superpower. Almost like the God who allowed him to have such unprecedented victory, and against all odds, has stepped back and taken His hand off of President Trump.
President Trump, if you or your people are reading this, I hope you will immediately reconsider what not moving the Embassy to Jerusalem may be costing you. Your White House is not only in disarray, you are sinking rapidly. If this continues much longer, you won’t have to worry about being impeached, the whole thing will just crumble under its own weight.
I believe with all my heart God allowed you to win because of your promise to move the Embassy. This is no time to get cute or look to “finesse” the situation. It’s time to keep the promise that propelled you to your amazing victory.
Because if you don’t, the God who set you up may just be getting ready to take you down. The problems you are experiencing politically are spiritual in origin.
Move the Embassy, keep your promise, or watch your presidency crumble like dust in the wind.
