The Pope’s first-ever video message on his monthly prayer intentions was released Tuesday, highlighting the importance of interreligious dialogue and the beliefs different faith traditions hold in common, such as the figure of God and love.
“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” Revelation 17:4,5 (KJV)
Pope Francis has sent the first shot across the prophecy bow for 2016, clearly stating his desire to unite the world’s religions and create a one, global religion that will combine elements from Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and Judaism. Francis repeatedly states that “we are all children of God” no matter what our faiths or religious beliefs might be. This is in direct opposition to the Bible which states that only when born again in Jesus Christ alone can we ever be called God’s children.
“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:26-28 (KJV)
Islam, Buddhism and Judaism all reject Jesus Christ as the Son of God. Roman Catholicism makes verbal assent to that fact – but – it is certainly not Biblical Christianity. In fact, the Vatican system, mentioned in Revelation 17 and 18, is the “Whore of Babylon”! Therefore it is impossible that the “four major faiths” can ever be united on any sort of “common ground” unless that common ground is the fulfillment of the end times prophecy of the apostate One World Religion. Which is exactly what this is all about and exactly was Pope Francis intends to create.
– “Many think differently, feel differently, seeking God or meeting God in different ways. In this crowd, in this range of religions, there is only one certainty that we have for all: we are all children of God,” Pope Francis said in his message, released Jan. 6, the feast of the Epiphany.
At the beginning of the video, a minute-and-a-half long, the Pope cites the fact that the majority of the earth’s inhabitants profess some sort of religious belief. This, he said, “should lead to a dialogue among religions. We should not stop praying for it and collaborating with those who think differently.”
The video goes on to feature representatives of Buddhism, Christianity, Islam and Judaism, who proclaim their respective beliefs in God, Jesus Christ, Allah and Buddha.
Later on, after the Pope affirms that all, regardless of their religious profession, are children of God, the faith leaders state their common belief in love.
The video then features clips of those from different world religions declaring belief in their various deities.
“I have confidence in Buddha,” a female lama announces.
“I believe in God,” a rabbi affirms.
“I believe in Jesus Christ,” a priest states.
“I believe in Allah,” an Islamic leader declares.
For the Bible believer, we live in absolutely amazing times as we watch the literal fulfillment of prophecies, some of which were made nearly 2,000 years ago, coming to pass in our seeing and hearing. It is all happening exactly as the Bible declares it would happen. This is the time, ours is the generation, these are the days of prophecy!
