"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Our Lord's prophecy does not stand alone. It is backed up by other prophecies both in the Old and New Testament. Turning to the Old Testament we find in Jer. 30:4-6, that it is the time of "Jacob's Trouble, " and is compared in its sufferings to the "birth-pangs" of a woman.
In Eze 26:34 it is spoken of as the time when-Israel shall "Pass under the Rod; " and in Eze. 22:19-21, we read how that God is going to cast Israel into His "Melting Pot, " where they are to be refined as "gold is refined." See also Mal. 3:1-3, and Zech. 13:9.
Daniel speaks of it as a "Time of Trouble" for his people, the Jews. Dan. 12:1. From these references we see that "The Great Tribulation" is something that has to do with the Jewish people, and is a judgment through which they must pass as a "refining process" to fit them to again be God's chosen people. Indirectly the Gentiles will be affected by it, but the Church will be "caught out" before that "Great and Terrible Day of the Lord."
In the New Testament we have two descriptions of it. The first is by Jesus in His Olivet Discourse, Matt. 24:9-11, and the second is in the Book of Revelation, chapters 6:1 to 19:21, where in the breaking of the "Seals, " the sounding of the "Trumpets" and the pouring out of the "Vials" John sees in vision the things that are to occur during the Tribulation Period.
A "White Horse" appears, the Rider of which is uncrowned at first, but is afterward crowned. He has a bow in his hand, and goes forth conquering. This rider is not Christ. Christ as the Lamb, is holding and breaking the "seals" of the Book. He does not appear as a White Horse Rider until chapter 19.
The Second Seal.
Rev. 6:3, Rev. 6:4.
A "Red Horse" appears, the Rider of which has power to take peace from the earth. The symbolism is clear. Red, the color of the horse, is a symbol of "blood, " and the sword of "war." The time is clearly that prophesied by Christ. Matt. 24:6, Matt. 24:7.
The outcome of these wars will probably be the "Ten Kingdom Federation" over which Antichrist shall become the head.
The Third Seal.
Rev. 6:5, Rev. 6:6.
A "Black Horse" appears, the Rider of which holds a pair of scales in his hand and a voice cries-"A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine."
The meaning is clear. When all able-bodied men are drafted for war, the fields remain untitled and "famine" follows, just as Christ prophesied. Matt. 24:7. The olive and the grape do not need cultivation, so their ruthless destruction is forbidden.
The Fourth Seal.
Rev. 6:7, Rev. 6:8.
A "Pale Horse" appears, the Rider of which is "Death." It is noteworthy that the Riders of the first three horses are not named. They will be recognized when they appear. Hell (Hades) follows in the wake of "Death" ready to swallow up his victims caused by war and famine.
In chapter 11:1-3 we are given a description of "Two Witnesses" who are to prophesy during the greater part of the last half of the Week. Who they will be is very clear. One has "power to shut heaven that it rain not in the days of their prophecy." This can be no other than Elijah who was translated that he might come again before the "Great and Terrible Day of the Lord" (Mal. 4:5, Mal. 4:6), and who will shut up the heavens for 42 months, or 3 1/2 years, which is exactly the length of time he did it in the days of Ahab.
The other Witness will "have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues as often as he will." This identifies him as Moses, for he is the only person mentioned in the Scriptures who had such power, and it was for this purpose that he was raised from the dead. Jude 9.
As Moses and Elijah appeared together on the Mount of Transfiguration with Christ and as they probably were the two "men" in "white apparel" (angel-like) that testified at the Ascension to Christ's coming again (Acts 1:10, Acts 1:11), what more probable than that they are the "Two Witnesses" who will return to the earth to announce that Coming?
During their "witnessing" they will have power to destroy their enemies with "fire" that shall issue from their mouths, but at the end of 1260 days they will be slain and their bodies lay exposed in the streets of the city of Jerusalem for 3 1/2 days, when they shall rise and ascend to Heaven, to the amazement of those who see them go.
Their ascent will be followed by a destructive earthquake, which completes the "Second Woe."
The "Tribulation Period" will close with the great "Battle of Armageddon." As we have seen the armies of the East and the West will be assembled in the Holy Land by the "Demon Spirits" that shall be sent forth from the mouths of the "Satanic Trinity." The field of battle will be the "Valley of Megiddo, " located in the heart of Palestine, the battlefield of the great battles of the Old Testament. The forces engaged will be the "Allied Armies" of Antichrist on the one side, and the "Heavenly Army" of Christ on the other. The "time" will be when the "Harvest of the Earth" IS RIPE, (Rev. 14:15), and at the "Psychological Moment" when the "Allied Armies" of Antichrist are about to take the city of Jerusalem.
The Prophet Zechariah says-
"Behold the 'Day of the Lord' cometh." (The "Day of the Lord" is the Millennial Day.) When-"I will Gather All Nations Against Jerusalem to Battle . . . Then shall the Lord Go Forth and Fight Against Those Nations." Zech. 14:1-3.
This "going forth" is graphically described in Rev. 19:11-13. When He came the first time to Jerusalem as King, He rode on a "colt, " the foal of an ass, (Matt. 21:1-3), this time He shall come on a "White Horse." His eyes will be as a "flame of fire" and on His head shall be "many crowns, " and He shall be clothed in a vesture "dipped in blood." Not His own blood but the blood of His enemies. The Prophet Isaiah foresaw that day-
"Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? " And the answer comes back-"I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save." Then the Prophet asks, "Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the Winefat? " And the response is-"I have trodden the wine-press alone; and of the people there was none with me; for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all My Raiment." Isa. 63:1-3.
That this does not refer to Christ's atonement on the Cross is clear, for the Prophet adds-
"For the 'Day of Vengeance' is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come."
There was no "vengeance" in Christ's heart on the Cross. It was "Father 'forgive them' for they know not what they do." The time the Prophet foretells, is the "Day of Christ's Vengeance" on His enemies, and the day when He shall redeem His chosen people the Jews from the power of Antichrist. It is the time when He shall tread - "THE WINEPRESS' Of the Fierceness and Wrath of Almighty God."
The Apostle John had a vision of this "Winepress" in chapter fourteen, verses 14 to 20. That was before the pouring out of the "Vials, " and was a prophetic foreview of what should happen in chapter nineteen.
In verses 18 to 20, an angel with a "sharp sickle" is told to-
"Thrust in thy Sharp Sickle, and gather the clusters of the 'Vine of the Earth, ' for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his Sickle into the earth, and gathered of the 'Vine of the Earth, ' and cast it into the Great Winepress of the wrath of God." And we read that "The Winepress was trodden Without the City, and blood, (not wine), came out of the Winepress, even unto the horses' bridles, by the space of a Thousand and Six Hundred Furlongs."
From this we see that the "Allied Armies" of Antichrist will cover the whole of Israel, and so great shall be the slaughter, that, in the valleys and hollows, all over the whole of Palestine, for the length of Israel as far south as Bozrah is 1600 furlongs or 200 miles, the blood shall be up to the horses' bridles.
It will be the time of which Isaiah speaks, when the land shall be "Soaked With Blood."
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8
You've Missed The Rapture Of The Church, Now What? Millions Missing, Here's What You Need To Do Next
Read the archives:
"And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe." John 14: 29
Well, we told you it was coming. Perhaps you were a casual reader of this site, but never got
really involved, "too many religious nuts" you said. Maybe you had a family member who would
plead with you night after night to "get right" with Jesus before His return. "Nah, never happen",
you said, "people been saying that for ever. Nonsense!". But, it wasn't nonsense, was it? Turns out the religious nuts were right after all. The Rapture of the Church actually happened. Now we are gone, and you remain. Left behind. I can only imagine the shock - terror - panic - and questions that must be running through your head right now. My heart breaks for you, and that's why I made this page, to get you through what the Bible calls the time of Jacob's Trouble, the Great Tribulation, and it's moments away from starting. Are YOU ready?
Let's begin at the beginning...
Here's what just happened.
It was the hope of every Jesus-follower, prior to the Rapture, that one day He would return and
"catch away" those who loved and believed in Him. Why did we think this was going to occur?
Because the Bible said so, listen - "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with
these words" 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-18
And that's exactly what just happened, and where we have now gone. Oh, knowing the media as
I do, I am sure that there are many attempts to explain it - UFO's, alien abductions, a harmonic
convergence, a government program, FEMA camps, cosmic shift, worm holes, and the list goes on
and on. But none of those explainations really satisfy you, do they? I mean, it's hundreds upon
hundreds of millions of people, right? Could any one government, no matter how corrupt, really
process that many people in the "blink of an eye". No, they could not. You know better than that.
In the Book of the Revelation, what happened to John in chapter 4, verses 1 & 2, is what has now
happened to all of us who are gone. "After this I looked, and, behold, a door [was] opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard [was] as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. Rev 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and [one] sat on the throne." Revelation 4
Wild, isn't it? We all heard the "sound of a trumpet", and were pulled up in to the clouds to be with
the Lord Jesus, Yeshua Ha'Maschiac Himself. Look at the photo above, and reread 1 Thessalonians
4 again to yourself. That is what has happen, and that is where we are. With Jesus. Take a little
moment and let that really, truly, actually, wonderfully sink into your mind.
What God has declared will be so, will be so.
Why you and not me??
Now I know your next question, and you are wondering why, why...why that you got left behind
and others did not. "It's not fair!", you exclaim. Maybe you were a church goer, maybe you are a
"good, moral person" who likes to do good deeds. Maybe you were a Deacon in your church. All
these things are good, but unfortunately, not nearly good enough. This is how God sees you, me, all of us humans here on this earth -
"All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53: 6
The Bible says that man, of and by himself, can never be and will never be "good enough" to get
into the Father's presence in Heaven. We have all sinned against a just and holy, sinless God. So
why, you ask again, if it's true that all of us are in this condition, did we go up and you stay behind?
We are gone now because we put our trust and faith in the the One, the only One who has the
true power to forgive sin, and that is Yeshua Ha'Maschiach - Jesus the Messiah - who shed His blood
once and for all for the forgiveness of sins. What can wash away your sin? Nothing, nothing ,
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
The road to Heaven starts at the old, rugged, bloody cross..."And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
even so must the Son of man be lifted up: Jhn 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but
have eternal life."
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for
us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life." Romans 5: 8-10
And that's why we are gone and you remain. We were not better than you in any way. You and I
had equal sin that needed cleansing and forgiving. But the difference is that we repented, turned from our sins, and turned to the living Lord whose death and resurrection from the dead paid the
sin debt we owed. You were left behind because your debt is still unpaid, but there is good news
yet for you. Right now, right in front of the computer screen you are reading this on, you can have the debt for all your sins paid in full. Ready?
You Can Be Saved--Right Now."That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with
the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" Romans 10: 9-10
Pray and ask the Lord, "Lord Jesus, be merciful to me a sinner, and save me. I now, with a repentant heart, receive you as my personal Saviour".
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13
If you meant it, if you were sincere, if you now know your desperate need for a Saviour and have
called upon Him to pay your sin debt, according to the Scripture, then the Bible declares that your
sin debt is now paid in full. Just remember that repentence is always the starting poiint. If you
were doing things and living in a way that the Bible forbids, turn from those sins and be cleansed
in His shed blood.
Word Of Warning: There is a verse that says because people rejected the truth of the gospel when it was offered them, that God would "send them a strong delusion" that they might "believe a lie."
"And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12
Since we are no longer here, we have no idea how to adivse you other than to say this. God is very merciful to all those who call upon Him. David in Psalm 51 recieved forgiveness when he did not deserve it because he threw himself on God's mercy.
Now you know what has happend to us, here is what you can expect to happen on earth during
the next 7 years...and it's not going to be pretty, so be prepared. But if you just received payment
for your sins, you can take comfort that no matter how bad things get, your eternal destiny is now
Living for the Lord, Dying for the Truth
As you have probably figured out by now, the coming Great Tribulation is not going to be a
picnic. In fact, as you can see from the left sidebar, it's going to be quite nasty. Before the
Rapture, it was pretty easy for bible belivers to meet, read and discuss the Bible. But under
the rule of Antichrist, it will be outlawed. The fate of a lot of believers during this time you
now find yourself in will end in beheading for refusal to take the Mark of the Beast.
"And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain
for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice,
saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto
them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their
brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled" Revelation 6: 9-11
Do NOT take the Mark of the Beast
The Antichrist is going to make life very tough for you, and at some point during this time, he will
introduce a "mark" that everyone will be required to take if you want to continue buying or selling
anything. While we were here on earth, we had many lively debates as to exactly what form that
mark would take, but you are about to see that for yourself. The bible says that it will be associated
with worship of the Antichrist. If you refuse to take this mark, as all Jesus followers will, the price
you will pay will be death.
We guessed as to what exact form the Mark of the Beast will take, but you will see it for yourself - DO NOT TAKE IT.
"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six." Revelation 13: 16-18
Under NO circumstances, for ANY reason should you accept this mark. For if you do you will be
consigned to the fires of Hell for all eternity. If not taking the mark means you can't buy food, then
find some other way to acquire it. If not taking the mark means spending the rest of the time of
the Tribualtion on the run as a fugitive, then so be it. This mark is the symbol of allegiance with the
Devil himself, and EVERY one that accepts will share his fate in Hell. Click here for some more info on
the Mark of the Beast.
The Judgements of God are about to be poured out on all the earth
Now read this exerpt by Dr. David Reagan on what you can expect to happen during your time left
on earth for the rest of the 7 year Tribulation.
"Amid all the chaos from the Rapture, the Bible teaches that the world will turn to a dynamic leader to bring order and peace (Revelation 6:1-2). He will succeed where no other person has been able in establishing a peace treaty for Israel (Daniel 9:27). That treaty marks the official beginning of the 7 years that the Tribulation will last.
But, the world leader, known to believers in Jesus as the Antichrist, is anything but peaceful. He will plunge the planet into nuclear world war, resulting in terrible famines, pestilence and mass death. Violence, disease and starvation will be a way of life. A quarter of the world population - almost 2 billion people - will die from this war (Revelation 6).
In Jerusalem, two men will appear and preach there for 3 1/2 years that Jesus is the Messiah the Jews have been looking for (Revelation 11:3). 144,000 Jews will call Jesus their Messiah and also preach about Him throughout the whole world. Millions will accept Jesus as their Savior - hopefully you will be one of them. But, many of those millions of believers will be killed by the Antichrist for not pledging their loyalty to him by receiving his mark on either their right hand or forehead. The persecution of believers in Jesus will be awful in the Tribulation (Daniel 7:22; Revelation 7).
Next, the greatest earthquake the world has yet experienced will devastate the planet (Revelation 6:12-14). Something falling from space will then burn up a third of all the world's vegetation. A second item from space, probably a meteor, will crash into the ocean and annihilate a third of the world's marine life and ships. A third object from space will taint the world's water supply, poisoning millions (Revelation 8:7-11).
The devastation to the atmosphere will block out most of the sun and moonlight so that the days appear shorter (Revelation 8:12).
Next, some supernatural "woes" will befall mankind. First, the holding place for a demonic hoard is opened and millions of locust-looking demons pour out and sting people like scorpions. The pain will last 5 whole months. Second, 200 million riders on horse-creatures will burn and impale, wiping out a remaining third of the people (Revelation 9:1-19).
Three and a half years into the Tribulation will see the 2 men witnessing in Jerusalem killed, but 3 1/2 days later come back to life (Revelation 11:7-12). It will also see the Antichrist supposedly killed and appear to come back to life as well (Revelation 13:3).
And that's just the first half of the Tribulation. As bad as the first half of the seven years is, the next half is even worse (Revelation 16).
Those who take the Antichrist's loyalty mark on their hand or forehead will suffer from painful boils. Those who don't take the mark will be cut off from commerce and hunted down, but the Bible assures (Revelation 20:4-6) that those who take the mark have made a decision that will last forever - eternal damnation - so don't take it!
The oceans and everything in them are totally destroyed, as well as all the fresh water. The heat from the sun will become scorching. The Antichrist's kingdom will fall into pitch darkness." source - Dr. David Reagan
Study the Bible every day, many times per day. PRAY to God, who gives wisdom liberally. Share the
Gospel with as many as you can. Make sure no one you know, saved or unsaved, takes the Mark of
the Beast. They will be doomed forever to Hell if they do.
We are watching you from the balcony now, and just know that we are praying for you always
during the time of the Great Tribulation. This verse speaks of us, the redeemed in Heaven, cheering
you on during this time. May the Holy Spirit lead you and guide you all the Home. We will be waiting
for you to arrive.
In Jesus precious Name, amen...and amen.
"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Hbr 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
