"What does converted mean? It means completely changed. Converted is not synonymous with reformed. Reforms are from without - conversion from within.
Conversion is a complete surrender to Jesus. It's a willingness to do what he wants you to do. Unless you have made a complete surrender and are doing his will it will avail you nothing if you've reformed a thousand times and have your name on fifty church records.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, in your heart and confess him with your mouth and you will be saved. God is good. The plan of salvation is presented to you in two parts. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth. Many of you here probably do believe. Why don't you confess? Now own up. The truth is that you have a yellow streak. Own up, business men, and business women,
and all of you others.
Isn't it so?
Haven't you got a little saffron? Brave
old Elijah ran like a scared deer when he heard old Jezebel had said she would have his head, and he beat it. And he ran to Beersheba and lay down under a juniper tree and cried to the Lord to let him die. The Lord answered his prayer, but not in the way he expected. If he had let him die he would have died with nothing but the wind moaning through the trees as his funeral dirge. But the Lord had something better for Elijah. He had a chariot of fire and it swooped down and carried him into glory without his ever seeing death.
Jesus said: "Come to me," not to the Church; to me, not to a creed; to me, not to a preacher; to me, not to an evangelist; to me, not to a priest; to me, not to a pope; "Come to me and I will give you rest." Faith in Jesus Christ saves you, not faith in the Church." source - Billy Sunday sermon "Why
Delay Your Real Conversion?"
The Empty Tomb
When Jesus rose from the grave on that
Easter Sunday morning, he arose with the power of life and death, because death couldn't hold Him. That's why He is the only one who can pay for your sins, because He is the only one who ever rose from the grave.
Eternal Life Through the Blood Of JESUS CHRIST Is A Free Gift
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one" Romans 3:10
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23
Our sins have seperated us from a righteous and holy
God, but in His Mercy and love towards us He has made
a way of escape for all those who seek it.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be
saved by his life." Romans 5: 8-10
There is a penalty for sin--Eternal Death.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 6:23
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" Hebrews 9:27
Jesus Christ is God's Provision for Your Sinful Condition.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" Romans 5:8
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but
have everlasting life" John 3:16
You Can Be Saved--Right Now."That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" Romans 10:9-10
Pray and ask the Lord, "Lord Jesus, be merciful to me a sinner, and save me. I now, with a repentant heart, receive you as
my personal Saviour".
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13
"It's LOVE that constrains us to tell people they are lost and headed for Hell if they don't know Jesus Christ, not hate.
Hate says nothing." - Geoffrey Grider
The bible says that TODAY is the day of salvation, and the mere fact that you are right now reading this page is proof that
God is talking to YOU, and drawing you closer to Him. NTEB asks you to take hold of His free gift to you, and receive an
eternal forgiveness for your sins.
There may not be a tomorrow, accept Him today. Jesus paid the ultimate price so you wouldn't have to. The Old and New
Testaments bear witness to The One that was to come, who would be the Ma'schiac, the Messiah. Jesus fulfilled every,
single Old Testament prophecy of Who the Messiah would be. And He is the only One able to pay for your sins. Listen as
the prophet Isaiah describes the agony of Jesus on the cross, having the full wrath of God the Father poured out on Him.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows: yet we
did esteem him stricken, smitten
of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised
for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
