Human Sacrifice Offered At Pagan Burning Art Festival ‘Element 11’ In Utah

Police identified him as Christopher Wallace, 30, of Salt Lake City.

“It’s like he didn’t even know it was fire, it’s like he thought it was just a playground”

“Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.” Mark 9:48,49

Inspired by the New Age event ‘Burning Man’, Element 11 held this year in Salt Lake City, Utah, recorded it’s first human sacrifice. Does this surprise anyone? The bible says that it is Hell that burns with unquenchable fire, and that Hell was made for the Devil and his angels. So when pagan groups like this meet to invoke spirits and demons from another world, is it a really a surprise when they show up and inspire a worshipper to offer themselves as a sacrifice?

On Monday, scores of “burners” — who commune in the Nevada desert every August for Burning Man — were mourning the doomed festival-goer after he dove into the flames during a moonlit bonfire ritual at the Element 11 fest near Salt Lake City late Saturday.

Earlier in the day, he had told other festivalgoers he planned to jump into the three-story-tall inferno, police said. “This is what he was going to do, and it’s what he did,” Grantsville Police Lt. Steve Barrett  told reporters Monday.

“He was running out there. He was dancing around a little bit, and then all of a sudden he jumped into it,” Daisey McDonald told KUTV-TV. “It’s like he didn’t even know it was fire, it’s like he thought it was just a playground”.

“It took not even seconds. He was just through the barricades and into the fire.”

Element 11 is a Burning Man offshoot, described on its website as a regional gathering of devotees of the annual counterculture extravaganza.

I’m thinking maybe he took the song Hot Stuff just a little too literally.

  • STL

Satan sure know how stupid people can be, anyone in their right mind and being educated would not jump into a burning fire, except some one completely stone out of their minds?

Look at at lease half of the USA, voted OBAMA into office twice, this proves how stupid people can be?

Soon, these weirdo’s will be throwing christians into these fires!!!

    • Ron Murphy

Evidently he was possessed, as many pagan worshippers are!

    • ian

Stoned is a term for being high on marijuana, and marijuana has never made anyone jump into a fire. You lose.

      • STL

Ian: I come from the stoner generation, I was talking about heavy drugs as cocaine, who suggested pot would make anyone jump into a fire, so we can see for one thing your an idiot and you need to go back to grade school and learn how to read!!!!!

        • Guest

I thought you meant he had smoked pot too.

        • Ron Murphy

It takes a little more than just drugs to plan and execute, something that bazaar. Although, drug would help to reach to that level. Someone on heavy drug usage or trying to hide from themselves to start with, opening themselves up to satan’s demons. That is why they commit such ungodly sins, in such a state. Some people like being over taken by spirits. They like the rush. These can not be helped, not until they are overtaken completely and realize they can’t get loose.

          • ma11hew

you are a fool. most people here that believe this article in its entirety is a fool.

          • Brenda Murphy

            @ ma11hew-
            that’s just your opinion.

          • ma11hew

            this is also a fact.

          • Rodger

            This reply is for ma11hew:

I do agree that we really don’t know if this story is complete or not. We can only go by what is published as truth. If it IS true, is it possible he was under the influence of drugs? Do you think that these people called up the evil spirits that dwell in this world since the day Lucifer was thrown from heaven with 1/3 of the angels? Did he just decide to commit suicide while in the company of strangers? Which ever it was, this man took his own life for something that did not mean as much as a human life. Sorry…

        • MRH

STL: Hard drugs are but a doorway unto demonic interaction. Most likely the man was drugged but also absolutely under demonic possession. And probably long before he ran into the fire, or even attended event. However suicide often is caused by bad life circumstances, though can also be caused by hallucinogens. Whatever the case, the mans dark secrets also went into the fire.

          • ma11hew

you people do not know the person. nothing about him except this exageragted story with mostly fiction. that is what makes you foolish. to not understand the actual situation and make foolish claims based off of a mostly fictional story

        • Dusty(BURNER)

Right, because nobody in the history of humanity has ever committed suicide in a very public, and extreme manner… And when you say “stoned”(sorry, you said “stone”) people will assume you are referencing Marijuana, so before you go insulting people, maybe YOU should go back to grade school and learn how to proofread. It’s one thing to sound like an ignorant jerk, it’s worse to sound like an ignorant jerk when accusing someone else of being the same. Murrica!

I’m underwhelmed by the sympathy displayed by previous posters.

This was suicide – so very sad. Lord have mercy . . .

    • Guest

Your post is probably the most logical and sympathetic thing I have read on this site. Thank you. I am not a Christian, but I do believe in what Jesus had to say about loving thy neighbor. It’s quite sad to see so many people claiming to be Christian and not following the words of their prophet. Thank you again for your post.

      • Brenda Murphy

He was more than a prophet, he was the Word of God, made flesh, and died for our sins.
He will reign as King on the earth, and every knee shall bow, and every tongue will confess that he is Lord. Amen. 🙂

satan has a hold on people and won’t let go…if they want him, they will get what they want…..to burn.

After all, why in the world do people do these things, they want to worship something besides the real God?

        • Dusty(BURNER)

I am a Ranger Lead for a small regional Burning Man Event. I am one of the people who guards the perimeter of the Effigy during the Burn Ceremony. I am also an OEF Combat Veteran and formerly a Latter Day Saint. There is no “worship” at our event, only “communion”. We come together once a year to recognize our own humanity, to lay our worries and cares away for a weekend and be equals. To feed and comfort each other after a long year of everyday life. We build art and burn it as a symbol of our letting go of our past, moving forward and onward. There is nothing satanic about it, but because we do not do these things in the name of YOUR “GOD” through YOUR methods, you condemn us. You don’t KNOW a single one of us, how could you presume to state our intentions? This is the point where someone gets so high on their own righteousness that they can’t smell their own feces while they are drowning others in it. I can get into a scripture war, I grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and say what you want about their “crazy” beliefs, they study the Bible better than most Christian sects. I choose not to Bible thump in these situations because it is wrong. The Bible as we know it now has been so thoroughly mistranslated and revised that there is no way to find any common ground, thus rendering any argument futile. The issue that I see here is that people are getting into the mob mentality of, “Yeah, everybody who thinks kinda like me is leaning this way, so I will too.”

I have no problem with religion. I believe it provided me with the values and foundation I needed to be a decent person. However, when people feel like they are a part of something, the general rule is to take it as far as they can , even if it’s for the sake of nothing but passion. I see where one could misinterpret the things that happen at a Burn, REALLY, I REALLY DO! From an outside perspective it appears alien and scary. We build a big art piece and then burn it. Sometimes it feels like a contest almost,”Lets see who can build the biggest fire!” but it really is that simple. Sure, all of the people that attend our events come from all different spiritualities and walks of life, but we all gather for one thing, community. We do not judge based on belief or lack thereof. We simply are there. For ourselves, for each other. Once a year where I don’t have to be Dusty, Sales Associate, or Dusty the shell-shocked combat veteran. It’s a place where I can sit in a camp chair in front of my tent and just feel safe. From judgement, from persecution, from violence, even modern society. We live in a world where people “worship” their phones. Their lives would unravel if they lost that connection. Yet I don’t see or hear anyone standing in judgement there. You know why? Because we (yes, me included) are all guilty! How inconvenient would it be to persecute something we find so convenient! My point here is that before you go passing biblical judgement on something, maybe find out more about it, versus the usual,”Welp, a MAN of GOD said this is what GOD wants/feels, he must be right, let’s start bashing people we know nothing about.” We as humans give individual men far too much power over our minds. Even the Bible says,”Put not thy faith in Man(princes). These very well paid Pastors who never actually do a day of real work.

The bottom line is, you don’t know the full story, only what YOU have been told by OTHERS! This man might have been mentally ill, on drugs, or simply did not see a point in going on in this world. After reading the article and some of the comments on this blog, I can see why someone wouldn’t want to live on this planet anymore. Maybe it’s time to take a step back and simply appreciate the effect that words and stupidity have on our society.

          • Brenda Murphy

            @ Dusty-

            Big response, I see.
We are all misunderstood at times, that’s for sure.
I am not afraid of anything…….I just do not see the point in what this burning thing is, even though you explained it well.
            For ‘commune’……
Something is lacking there, in order for you to have to do this.
Maybe, just maybe……you need to commune with the One that created you, and all of us…..he is always willing to listen, and if you want to hear him, he will speak to your spirit, the inner man.
God is so good….and great, and loving.
            That’s all I have to say. 🙂

          • MRH

We build art and burn it as a symbol of our letting go of our past, moving forward and onward. @Dusty(BURNER: Your burning event may seem benign, however it’s not. And it’s not about what you folk do in the rituals, and your innocent intentions, or to whom it is offered. But rather that doing such things opens doorways into the dark spirit world, which is not advisable period. Anyway, I suggest you watch below short video which clarifies my point here 😉

            http://youtu.be/U9w9K2AiMTI

          • Dusty

I’m glad you are happy in your beliefs Brenda. However, I’ll ask you to keep your judgemental, ill-informed assumptions to yourself. I am happy and the only thing I lack in my life, is the lack of the presence of people like you. And MRH, I’m glad someone out there thinks that we’re splitting dimensions to access other worlds. I really wish we were that cool but the fact of the matter is, you my friend, should probably seek psychiatric assistance. This is the real world. I pour some White Gas on some wood and light it on fire. Because I do it with friends, often in memory of friends we have lost, you judge us! How is that Christlike? You are hypocritical pieces of human garbage. Both of you. You are no better than racist scum. Persecuting something you don’t understand and never will.

          • Dusty

Really though MRH, the fact that I’M the one that is “on drugs” and I am the sane one in this conversation…

          • MRH

“I pour some White Gas on some wood and light it on fire”

@Dusty: It’s not the fact of the bonfire itself, but rather the ritual involved in the burning event. In fact fire needs not even be present in rituals, to cause spirit influence. The rituals are what opens the demonic doorways.

And I know this as a fact from personal experience, having lived with a witch before; Catholic, Rosicrucian, Mason. Her weird spells and rituals caused strange unexplainable occurrences in my home; falling objects, etc. Although invisible, there were spirits dwelling here during her several month stint. When the witch finally departed, so did the strangeness immediately even.

P.S. Did you watch the video? I’m guessing not? Anyway, man is not alone, there are invisible good and bad spirits dwelling here with us as well. Demonic possession or interaction is not a coo coo bird fantasy but a hard and strange reality. Also if you play with fire too much you may eventually get burned 😉

          • MRH

“Really though MRH, the fact that I’M the one that is “on drugs” and I am the sane one in this conversation…”

@Dusty: Drugs are a sure pathway into the netherworld. In fact I used to be a druggie myself back in my youth. Mostly it was marijuana, but I also tried other popular street drugs; LSD, Shrooms, Cocaine, Meth, Opium, etc. And so again I speak from experience in matters 😉

Anyway, eventually I quit the crazy drug game, and fortunately didn’t become an addict. But in fact I know folks whom went crazy on street drugs, and one was a late friend whom was a serious crazed meth addict. It seems the drug fried his brain and he died young in his sleep 🙁

P.S. Like with booze and smoking, quit drug game while ahead 😉

    • MRH

Yes suicide, but probably drugs plus demonic possession. Normal sane folk could not possibly commit such foolish acts such as suicide.

P.S. Drugs such as LSD distort perception, and have caused people to jump off high places, thinking that they could fly. Could have been similar case here, with crazy man thinking he could run into the fire and out. Problem is the inferno was so hot it would have killed him instantly on contact. Remember the zapped furnace guards in Daniel 3?

A ‘counter culture celebration’ where a man willingly chose his eternal destination – damnation, for “the word of the LORD” said to King Saul:

wrong. I have science and logic and reasoning on my side, you have an ancient fairy tale. Tell me, do you believe the fictions in the Koran and other religious texts as well that swear they are the right path? Or are you just selective in your myths?

            What is science, anyway, Ian?

1Ti 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
1Ti 6:21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith.

God has all the answers, science does not.
Logic can only take you so far….without God, it is all futile.

Ecc 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
Ecc 7:21 Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee:
Ecc 7:22 For oftentimes also thine own heart knoweth that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others.
Ecc 7:23 All this have I proved by wisdom: I said, I will be wise; but it was far from me.
Ecc 7:24 That which is far off, and exceeding deep, who can find it out?
Ecc 7:25 I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness:

It would seem that the man initially intended to commit suicide? Naturally he was possessed by devils, as no normal sane person would do or plan such atrocity. Also the whole event is a satanic ritual http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=d29_1405320420 , quite common in these dark latter days.

As for the fire suicide victim, it could have literally been anywhere, just that he must have wanted to end his life in the ritual flames. Other planned suicide episodes are off famous bridges such as the Golden Gate Bridge, but many deaths are simply drug or alcohol overdoses (some accidental).

Mat 17:14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
Mat 17:15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
I myself think we will see more and more of this type of thing, as the days draw closer to the coming of Jesus Christ. There were many vexed of the devil in the beginning of the Church age, and I think we are starting to see more of them manifesting themselves now-days. Where are the people of God, that have the gift of discerning of spirits, and move in the ministry of deliverance now days? I’m just not seeing it. Not the true anyway. Many say they are in a deliverance ministry, but I’m only seeing a bunch of kooks that are not truly of God. May the Lord start moving upon his people, and putting them out there to help these poor people. Dear Jesus help!!!

Those who authored and support this article should be grateful that ignorance is not considered a sin according to the Bible. This article is simply religious propaganda and contains no truth. I would say that you people should be ashamed to call yourselves followers of Jesus Christ when your thoughts and actions reflect nothing of His, but ignorance owes no apologies. I am sorry for yours and ask those who find this article as offensive as I do, to forgive the authors and supporters.

I am reminded of the Ghandi quote: “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.” The Bible says that God is love and that humans were created in God’s image, as was this man. Where is the love in this? Do you honestly think this is how Christ would respond? If you do, you are not a true follower.

      @ Laurie

I beg to differ—Gandhi was just a man, not God, or anything.
Just because he sacrificed a lot for his country, doesn’t mean he went to heaven……Christ said that no man cometh unto God, but by him.
So Gandhi was really making a moot point. Wise in his own eyes, is all!!!

Psa 8:1 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
Psa 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
      Psa 8:3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
Psa 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Psa 8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Psa 8:6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
      Psa 8:7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
Psa 8:8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
Psa 8:9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

Praise the Lord! Jesus made a way, so we won’t have to burn forever!

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Mat 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Mat 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
Mat 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Mat 7:28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
Mat 7:29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

That is not why He made you. He has angels for that. He made you to commune because you desire to, not because you have to. Seek Him out, Then if you can’t find Him, say so, then! But seek Him in truth or you will not find Him.

Joh_4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh_4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

No Ron. the burden of proof is on believers. Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence. I have just as much proof of the flying spaghetti monster as you do in an invisible sky daddy.

  • David “Caution” Pierce

A man killed himself in front of 1,200 unwilling spectators and you thinks it’s some big joke??? I had a bunch of friends in that crowd. I have posted on fire duty at burns to keep people safe. No one wanted this. A community that is organized around love and respect is traumatized and you sit there and self righteously quote the bible and rejoice in this? Reading this I had to hold back the urge to vomit. People like you are the reason why I want nothing to do with the church and seeing how we are quoting the bible I will leave you with this. Luke 17.2 He said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come! 2″It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble. Now please take this page down as it will cause more emotional pain.

    • MRH

@David “Caution” Pierce: Fact is the man was either insane or on drugs, as he initially stated to many that he was going to jump into the fire. And people there didn’t believe him of course, as people say strange unbelievable things.

As for the fire ritual event itself, suicide was simply a coincidence incident. Probably a distraught individual, possibly due to negative life situation/s, loss of; job, home, girl, etc? Hopelessly lost folk can do crazy things like suicide even?

P.S. God is the only SAFE path, and religion is NOT the key 😉

I was born and raised as a Christian. I was also there. I saw him break perimeter, saw him dance, saw him jump, saw him land, saw his hands reach out of the fire. .. I heard the screams of surprise and horror as others watched in disbelief. It was my friends who were chasing him down to stop him. Afterwards, I saw hundreds of strangers comforting and supporting each other even though they had just been equally as traumatized.

I personally spent hours of my own time building the effigy known as “sparky” and I was one of the precious few allowed inside the perimeter for the show before lighting.

With all of this: I can say that it was neither a pagan ritual nor human sacrifice. And the people there responded to the horrific event and eachother in more of a Christ-like way than any action I have ever seen come from any so-called Christian.

If the end is near, it is because the Christians have returned to Babel.

      • MRH

Why did he radically run into the fire? Drugs? Depression? Demons? Ego? Other? As a claimed Christian, can you logically explain things?

        • witness

I can’t explain his motivations. To claim that I could would be arrogant. I am not omniscient. I know there was a note, but nothing in the note was something that I would personally ever choose to run into a fire for. If I could rewind time and my choice was between asking “why” and simply stopping him. .. I’d stop him.

        • MRH

@witness: By ‘there was a note’ I presume you mean a suicide note?

      • Brenda Murphy

No, it’s because of all the unbelief in the world, that the end is near……God will show up and show you who is the BOSS !!!

Besides, Jesus has to come back and get his children…and take vengeance on those that hated them. 🙂

CALA VERA: At least we know your not a lady, with that profanity language!

  • David “Caution” Pierce

Your title for this article reads “Human Sacrifice Offered At Pagan Burning Art Festival ‘Element 11’ In Utah”. This title is false and hurtful. Of course the man was on drugs, distraught, or insane; why else would he run into a fire? That doesn’t mean you should blog about it like it’s something other than the profound tragedy it is. Also, burns are about community, creativity, and art. They are about creating things, pouring yourself into them, and then burning it so you can do it again. They are not pagan and a burn is certainly not about “summoning demons”. I have met people from all faiths and they are welcome. I have ran the perimiter of an effigy burn. Safety is always foremost. I now have a bunch of traumatized friends coming back from that thing who will never be able to get the image of the man killing himself out of there head. It will haunt their dreams for years to come. So again, I implore you to take this article down as it is simply not true. It is also trending as it came up in my new feed as a top article. This should concern you as 70,000 people are going to burning man this year and they know this article is false.

    • Ron Murphy

Well, this lad can certainly do it again, for eternity.

  • Clayton

It disgusts me that fundamentalist Christians would distort what happened and use it to promote their religious beliefs. Burning Man festivals have nothing to do with paganism. Using a fire as a centrepiece for a communal gathering has universal appeal, and is no more sinister than sitting around a camp fire roasting marshmallows. The fact that fundamentalist Christians view fire as some sort of demonic symbol is just as delusional as the guy who walked into the fire. It’s quite clear that he was suffering from some sort of mental problem. I suggest the same can be applied to those who support the bias in this article.

    • Saved by the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ

Fiirst time commenting. Paganism or not an effigy is idolotry & is a sin. That in itself is a red flag to me, to take part in this festival is not of god in the first place & is of the world. God will not be mocked. You my friend & many others need the gospel for we live unto grace & not under the old testement law. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins & rose again for us to set us free so we might be saved for all eternity. If we believe in him we should not perish but have eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. I see so many errors on this site that we lose the basis of the meaning of the gospel. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. It is God’s gift to us. Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, that he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? May you & many others see the truth of the gospel of Christ & ask God forgiveness of our sins & come to him in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ amen.

      • MRH

“Paganism or not an effigy is idolotry & is a sin”

Yes, because idols invoke evil spirits 😉

The title in this article is false and disrespects the memory of this unfortunate soul who whether under the influence or not, felt it necessary to end his life.
There was no “human sacrafice” and if the normal readers of this site believe that then they are complete idiots. I suspect like me many of the comments opposing this article found their way here by “similar articles” links on facebook.
It is interesting to see the point of view and the mindset of the fundementalist christians and the false news they spread. If they were truely interested in the “word of god” then surely they would not need to resort to spreading lies about tragic events like this.
I am a celtic shaman, I would in harmony with nature, plants and animals and human spirituality. I am what you people might call “a pagan”. Shamanism is the oldest spiritual belief system on the planet dating back 50,000 years.
I would suggest that extreme christian cults and their judgemental oppressing ways would more likely be the source of this souls torment, and the proximity of this event to the capital of one of the most judgemental, controlling and oppressive christian cults, mormanism, might be more to do with this death than fire worshiping pagans.
Love, Light and Blessings to the family of this man and those who witnessed it, and to those who seek to use his death to pervert spirituality in whatever guise you choose to follow be it christian or pagan.

    • Ron Murphy

This man killed himself because of your cult, not because we warn people about you. Your statement is futile. Are you trying to misguide someone here? Do you know we are Christians? How foolish!

      To Jake Zahner

You called these people – “the best most positive people you could meet, great people”

      Question –

What about the ones that heard this man say earlier in the day that he was going to throw himself into the fire?

      Are they –

“the BEST — MOST POSITIVE — people you could meet” ???????

      “GREAT people” ??????

Obviously, some of them are just stupid , un-caring, drunk, drugged, — DIRT WORSHIPPERS !

“Hell, is the total and complete separation from the light and love of God. It is not a burning all consuming sulfur laden hell”

@Elizabeth Cohen: Interesting analogy, and biblical 🙂

Ecc 9:10 KJV – Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Psa 31:17 KJV – Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.

Psa 146:4 KJV – His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Jer 51:39 KJV – In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD.

Jde 1:13 KJV – Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

P.S. Hell is the grave; dark, silent, timeless.. void! NON EXISTENCE 🙁

      • Ron Murphy

Mark, if hell is non existence, how did Saul call Samuel up from there? It is rest for the righteous, but misery for those that believe not. The rich man testifies against you, in Jesus’ parable of Lazarus.

        • MRH

Ron, I believe that the Endor witch evoked an evil spirit which appeared as Samuel and gave Saul the dark prophesy. Unfortunately that scripture leaves room for question.

Job 7:21 KJV – And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.

Job 14:12 KJV – So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

Job 17:13, 16 KJV – If I wait, the grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness. … They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust.

Job 21:26, 32 KJV – They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them. … Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb.

Dan 12:2 KJV – And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

1Sa 28:6-7, 11, 13-14 KJV – And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets. Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. … Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel. … And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.

P.S. Jesus raised Lazurus and others from death, but only to live again as healed people, not as temporary ghosts. Plus witches can only conjure up demons masquerading as real people, not actual people. And finally only Jesus can raise up the dead, but not until resurrection hour 😉

    • Brenda Murphy

Jesus said it was FIRE !!!

Mar 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
Mar 9:44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Mar 9:45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
Mar 9:46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Mar 9:47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
Mar 9:48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

  • Mandrake

A while back, I experienced a short visit to Hell that I know was not a dream. I found myself in a place of total darkness – a void that was blacker than black.

Even though there was no light, I could see as clear as day. I felt terror that there are no words to describe. It was as if every atom, every molecule of my body was screaming. There was no fire, no light, no sound. Only absolute nothingness.

I have the feeling that what I experienced was only a small taste of the level of eternal terror you would be subjected to. I am reminded of Psalm 73:19 – How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment they are utterly consumed with terrors. Absolute terror was the only thing I knew there, I had no perception of time or anything else.

I believe I was shown this because I wanted to experience Hell, not because I don’t believe, but because I do (if that makes any sense). I can only imagine how beautiful Heaven must be if Hell is like this.

    • MRH

“A while back, I experienced a short visit to Hell that I know was not a dream. I found myself in a place of total darkness – a void that was blacker than black.”

@Mandrake: According to the bible, the dead can’t think. And if one can’t think, then one can’t; see, hear, smell, feel, etc (awareness). Being that you had awareness in your dark and silent episode, you could not have been in hell, just a literal nightmare 😉

Psa 146:3-4 KJV – Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Ecc 9:5-6, 10 KJV – For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. … Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

      2Ti 4:1 KJV – I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Heb 9:27-28 KJV – And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Rev 11:15, 18 KJV – And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. … And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

P.S. The idea of an afterlife is a fable, created by misinterpreting scripture. Fact is, except by miracle (Lazurus, etc), the dead remain oblivious until resurrection hour, which is also judgment day 😉

  • Ken M.

Your assertion in this article is 100% patently false and sensationalized. Additionally, the comment stream by the so-called “Christians” of this site is absolutely laughable. The Burners you deride in this forum are a thousand fold more Christian (in behavior) than any of you people.

    Judge not, indeed.

    • Brenda Murphy

    • Ron Murphy

Excuse me! It’s not any of us that’s jumping into a fire!

Jud_1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Now, you can call this judging if you want to, but God’s holy men told us to do these things, perhaps you will get the Chance to tell them your speech above. I have a feeling, it won’t be to long from now.

As for Burning Man not being a pagan ritual, that is absolutely not true! You need to study the occult to understand that much at least. In fact there are satanic rituals nearly everywhere nowadays; Olympic Games, Superbowls, Awards ceremonies, you name it. In fact the media industry is one giant ongoing occult ritual (below video).

P.S. Call upon Jesus before it’s too late. He can save your lost soul 🙂

The people in the crowd may be nice (most folk are), but I can assure you that the event itself is a devious satanic ritual! However the common person can’t see that dark aspect, only those folk able to discern good and evil spirits in situations 🙂

    • hey d1p $$h 1 T! from your very own website. maybe you should read more before copying pasting.

So what does Burning Man have to do with Paganism? It actually started in California as a bonfire ritual on the Summer solstice. And it remains steeped in ritual — a main component of the event is the burning of an effigy in the shape of an abstract man.** But Burning Man is not considered Pagan festival; it is considered a pagan festival. The difference is in the capital “p” where Pagan (n.) describes someone who follows a particular faith and pagan (adj.) describes an existence outside of systems or infrastructure (i.e, rustic or rural).

      • you know like MBps and mbps

What on earth do people get out of this. All I get is a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. It is so very demonic…EEEWWWWW I feel so sad for them…:( Just what is this suppose to represent to them anyway??? 🙁

    • suez

@Kat, Hi Kat, that is OK, I don’t expect most to agree with me. 🙂 But, I also highly doubt that you know who started the Burning man in your area, and what their real intentions were. Satan comes very sneaky. He comes in every facet of life, and may appear to be very “good”. But underneath he works in clouded mystery. You don’t have to agree, I respect you to have your own opinion, as I have mine. Good day. 🙂

@Nickity Nack: The fact is, such rituals open dark doorways, and you can even sense it just watching the video of the burn ceremonies.. creepy! And in no way would I even remotely consider attending such demonic events anymore, not that they ever appealed my interests.

P.S. It is unwise even to own personal idols (worship objects), as demons can attach themselves to such things, and cause the owner varied spiritual issues. “Also master disks in music can be spell casting objects unto the listener. Btw I’ve read that witches/warlocks are involved in the music production procedure, though I can’t vouch source.”

        You are correct my friend!

John Todd… former satan worshipper … produced a video that exposes the occult/satanic influences of rock n roll…

It’s entitled, “They Sold Their Soul For Rock And Roll”.

Many artists have admitted to “selling” their souls to Satan for fame and fortune …

I saw Bob Dylan admit to it on a tv interview years ago…Dylan said that he was gonna keep his end of the bargain too.
