Obama Tells Flea Party ‘You Are The Reason’ I Ran For President
Dec 1st
Occupy garbage can
By now we all know who they are, the Occupy Wall Street people. They have protested, they have rioted. They have had hundreds of cases of STD’s. They have raped, they have looted, they have set things on fire. They are unwashed, unshaven. They are anti-semtic and anti-America. And most of all they hate successful people with money. They are the opposite of the Tea Party Patriots. They are, for lack of a better name, the Flea Party. And they are, according to President Obama, the reason why he ran for office to become president in the first place.
From the Weekly Standard: President Obama hugs an increasingly unpopular, vulgar, and lawless movement. The Hill reports that after President Obama was heckled by protesters at an event in New Hampshire, he said:
“I appreciate you guys making your point; let me go ahead and make mine,” Obama said before continuing his speech. “I’ll listen to you, you listen to me, OK?”
A few minutes later, Obama acknowledged the Occupy protest movement again, saying: “You are the reason I ran for office.” Weekly Standard

Occupy Protesters Threaten ‘We’re going to burn New York City to the ground’
Nov 16th
The Attack of the Flea Party
Less than forty-eight hours after an early morning police raid on Zuccotti Park, Occupy Wall Street protesters are warning city officials to expect their biggest demonstration yet. A planned ‘day of action’ on November 17 has prompted the mayor’s office to prepare for ‘tens of thousands’ to descend on Wall Street tomorrow.

Plan of action: Protesters are planning to meet at 7:00am at Liberty Sqaure, followed by an occupation of the New York City subway system at 3:00pm, an evening march to Foley Square and a march to the Brooklyn Bridge
But amid the voices proclaiming the movement to be a peaceful one, others are threatening widespread violence In a video posted on YouTube after the eviction, an incensed man in the crowd, surrounded by placards proclaiming ‘We are too big to fail’ and ‘Stop wars, make jobs’, yells out: ‘On the 17th, we’re going to burn New York City to the ground!’
Later in the video, he exclaims: ‘No more talking. They’ve got guns, we’ve got bottles. They’ve got bricks, we’ve got rocks… in a few days you’re going to see what a Molotov cocktail can do to Macy’s.’
Elsewhere, a middle-aged woman is videotaped being handcuffed by police, the crowd asking for her name and asking police why she’s been arrested. Others beat drums, clang the barricades and chan, ‘Who’s park? Our park? Who do you serve? Who do you protect?’ while sirens blare in the background. source – Daily Mail UK
Death, Disease and Sexual Assaults are Hallmarks of the Occupy Wall Street Protests
Nov 11th
Murders in Oakland and Vermont
OAKLAND, Calif. — Police are investigating a fatal shooting just outside the Occupy Oakland encampment in Northern California and the apparent suicide of a military veteran at an Occupy encampment in Vermont’s largest city.
The Oakland killing is further straining relations between local officials and anti-Wall Street protesters. A preliminary investigation into the gunfire Thursday that left a man dead suggests it resulted from a fight between two groups of men at or near the camp on a plaza in front of Oakland’s City Hall, police Chief Howard Jordan said.
Investigators do not yet know if the men in the fight were associated with Occupy Oakland, but they are looking into reports that some protest participants tried to break up the altercation, Jordan said.
Burlington, Vt., police said preliminary investigations show a 35-year-old military veteran fatally shot himself in the head Thursday at an Occupy Wall Street encampment. The name of the Chittenden County man is being withheld because not all of his family has been notified.
He shot himself inside a tent in City Hall Park. Mike Noble, a spokesman for the Fletcher Allen Health Care hospital in Burlington, confirmed that the man had died. Noble said he could provide no other details. source – AJC
Deputy Chief Andi Higbee in Burlington told reporters the shooting raised questions about whether the protest would be allowed to continue.
TB on the rise
ATLANTA (CBS Atlanta) – The home base for Occupy Atlanta has tested positive for tuberculosis.
The Fulton County Health Department confirmed Wednesday that residents at the homeless shelter where protesters have been occupying have contracted the drug-resistant disease. WGCL reports that a health department spokeswoman said there is a possibility that both Occupy Atlanta protesters and the homeless people in the shelter may still be at risk since tuberculosis is contracted through air contact. source – CBS Atlanta
Occupy sexual assaults and other violence
Occupy Wall Street has been going on for a little over two months, but protests are becoming controversial as news of sexual assaults and other criminal activity are marring its humble efforts.
Police reported around six sexual assaults coming out of the Occupy camps, with three coming from Zuccotti Park in New York City. The Zuccotti Park attacks forced the innocent protestors to set up an “all women tent.”
Ed Mullins, president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, told Fox News: “The concern would be the rapes and attacks that aren’t reported, we have no way of really knowing. If you have three or five crimes reported, you really don’t know if it’s eight or 10 that happened.”
A man was accused of sexually abusing a woman Oct. 8. This first reported incident occurred while the woman was in her sleeping bag in Zuccotti Park. The woman did not report the incident until she saw the suspect, David Park; appear at the protest site again.
Another man, Tonye Iketubosin, was arrested for sexually assaulting a woman last week in her tent on Oct. 25, also at Zuccotti Park. He was even questioned about the rape of a second woman on Oct. 29.
A 23-year-old man from Dallas was accused of having sex with a 14-year-old runaway in their local “Occupy” movement while in Cleveland. Cops are looking into a sexual assault allegation that occurred Oct. 15.
Apart from the sexual assault reports, incidents of violence have also been on the rise. A man taking pictures in Zuccotti Park was left with a laceration on his face after a protestor struck him, a police report from last week stated.
Local businesses feel the brunt of some of the protestors in Manhattan, as well. The owner of one shop claimed the protestors terrorized her after she refused to let them bathe in her store restroom.
In Boston, a number of the homeless protestors were discovered to have concealed weapons and drugs on them.
A San Diego camp vandalized and destroyed food vendors after the small business owners stopped giving the protestors free food.
However, one of the most grievous incidents happened in Portland. A Molotov Cocktail was allegedly set off near the city’s World Trade Center, forcing authorities to respond to the calls. They received unconfirmed information on the deadly weapon a few days early and responded as they saw fit.
“Paralysis is occurring across law enforcement. It’s becoming a Catch 22,” said Mullins about the protesting incidents in Manhattan. “To go in there to clear the park is going to cause confrontation. To not do so is detrimental.” source – CP
ACORN Behind Occupy Wall Street Protests
Oct 26th
ACORN falls not far from the tree
The former New York office for ACORN, the disbanded community activist group, is playing a key role in the self-proclaimed “leaderless” Occupy Wall Street movement, organizing “guerrilla” protest events and hiring door-to-door canvassers to collect money under the banner of various causes while spending it on protest-related activities, sources tell FoxNews.com.
The former director of New York ACORN, Jon Kest, and his top aides are now busy working at protest events for New York Communities for Change (NYCC). That organization was created in late 2009 when some ACORN offices disbanded and reorganized under new names after undercover video exposes prompted Congress to cut off federal funds.
NYCC’s connection to ACORN isn’t a tenuous one: It works from the former ACORN offices in Brooklyn, uses old ACORN office stationery, employs much of the old ACORN staff and, according to several sources, engages in some of the old organization’s controversial techniques to raise money, interest and awareness for the protests.
Sources said NYCC has hired about 100 former ACORN-affiliated staff members from other cities – paying some of them $100 a day – to attend and support Occupy Wall Street. Dozens of New York homeless people recruited from shelters are also being paid to support the protests, at the rate of $10 an hour, the sources said.
At least some of those hired are being used as door-to-door canvassers to collect money that’s used to support the protests.
Sources said cash donations collected by NYCC on behalf of some unions and various causes are being pooled and spent on Occupy Wall Street. The money is used to buy supplies, pay staff and cover travel expenses for the ex-ACORN members brought to New York for the protests.
In one such case, sources said, NYCC staff members collected cash donations for what they were told was a United Federation of Teachers fundraising drive, but the money was diverted to the protests.
Sources who participated in the teachers union campaign said NYCC supervisors gave them the addresses of union members and told them to go knock on their doors and ask for contributions—and did not mention that the money would go toward Occupy Wall Street expenses. One source said the campaign raked in about $5,000. source – Fox News
Obama Funding Creation Of New Street Light Spy System
Oct 26th
New Street Lights To Have “Homeland Security” Applications
New street lights that include “Homeland Security” applications including speaker systems, motion sensors and video surveillance are now being rolled out with the aid of government funding.
The Intellistreets system comprises of a wireless digital infrastructure that allows street lights to be controlled remotely by means of a ubiquitous wi-fi link and a miniature computer housed inside each street light, allowing for “security, energy management, data harvesting and digital media,” according to the Illuminating Concepts website.
According to the company’s You Tube video of the concept, the primary capabilities of the devices include “energy conservation, homeland security, public safety, traffic control, advertising, video surveillance.”
In terms of Homeland Security applications, each of the light poles contains a speaker system that can be used to broadcast emergency alerts, as well as a display that transmits “security levels” (presumably a similar system to the DHS’ much maligned color-coded terror alert designation), in addition to showing instructions by way of its LED video screen.
The lights also include proximity sensors that can record both pedestrian and road traffic. The video display and speaker system will also be used to transmit Minority Report-style advertising, as well as Amber Alerts and other “civic announcements”.
With the aid of grant money from the federal government, the company is about to launch the first concept installation of the system in the city of Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Using street lights as surveillance tools has already been advanced by several European countries. In 2007, leaked documents out of the UK Home Office revealed that British authorities were working on proposals to fit lamp posts with CCTV cameras that would X-ray scan passers-by and “undress them” in order to “trap terror suspects”.
Dutch police also announced last year that they are developing a mobile scanner that will “see through people’s clothing and look for concealed weapons”.
So-called ‘talking surveillance cameras’ that use a speaker system similar to the Intellistreets model are already being used in UK cities like Middlesborough to bark orders and reprimand people for dropping litter and other minor offenses.
According to reports, one of the most common phrases used to shame people into obeying instructions is to broadcast the message, “We are watching you.”
The transformation of street lights into surveillance tools for Homeland Security purposes will only serve to heighten concerns that the United States is fast on the way to becoming a high-tech police state, with TSA agents being empowered to oversee that control grid, most recently with the announcement that TSA screeners would be manning highway checkpoints, a further indication that security measures we currently see in airports are rapidly spilling out onto the streets.
The ability of the government to use street lights to transmit “emergency alerts” also dovetails with the ongoing efforts to hijack radio and television broadcasts for the same purpose, via FEMA’s Emergency Alert System. source – InfoWars
Obama Led Chicago Street Riots In 1980′s To Intimidate Business Owners
Oct 25th
Power to the people, sort of…
Just twenty or so years ago, Barack Obama wouldn’t just have supported the Occupy protests. He would have organized them.
From Stanley Kurtz’s essential Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism, pp. 117-8:
In fact, Obama personally helped plan one of UNO’s most confrontational actions of the eighties [in 1988]: a break-in meant to intimidate a coalition of local business and neighborhood leaders into dropping a landfill expansion deal.
We know of Obama’s involvement in this demonstration only because his supporters in 2008 felt it necessary to rebut charges that, contrary to his claims of inter-racial healing, he had organized exclusively with blacks. Only then did Obama’s former colleagues from UNO [United Neighborhood Organization, a largely Mexican group] of Chicago reveal that he had helped to plan and lead this multi-ethnic demonstration against landfill expansion on Chicago’s South Side.
…Shouting “No deals!” somewhere between eighty and a hundred UNO-DCP [Developing Communities Project, a black group organized by Obama] marched to a local bank. There they broke into a meeting being conducted by the bank president and local community leaders. The group was exploring the possibility of a deal with Waste Management. The protestors, presumably including Obama, surrounded the meeting table while [Mary-Ellen] Montes [of UNO] told the negotiators, “We will fight you every step of the way.”
Obama was also likely involved with other aggressive UNO protests, including protests for school reform, through which he likely met former Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers. Ayers is involved in the Occupy protests today.
In the 1990s, Obama maintained his ties to radical activists, and “channel[ed] foundation funding to his confrontational Alinskyite colleagues.”
It’s clear that Obama’s ties to the Occupy movement–its forbears, its tactics, and some of its current luminaries–run deep.
This is what “community organizing” looks like. source – Big Government
