The Muslim Brotherhood never had this much support
A U.S. drone aircraft fired on two leaders of a militant Somali organization tied to al-Qaeda, apparently wounding them, a senior U.S. military official familiar with the operation said Wednesday.
U.S. aircraft and Special Operations commandos have carried out other attacks in Somalia against militants linked to al-Qaeda, but the strike last week appears to have been one of the first U.S. drone attacks in Somalia.
The strike last week against senior members of al-Shabab comes amid growing concern within the U.S. government that some leaders of the Islamist group are collaborating more closely with al-Qaeda to strike targets beyond Somalia, the military official said.
The airstrike makes Somalia at least the sixth country where the United States is using drone aircraft to conduct lethal attacks, joining Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Iraq and Yemen. And it comes as the CIA is expected to begin flying armed drones over Yemen in its hunt for al-Qaeda operatives.
Al-Shabab has battled Somalia’s tenuous government for several years. In recent months, U.S. officials have picked up intelligence that senior members of the group have expanded their ambitions beyond attacks in Somalia. source – Washington Post
Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Delegation in Gaza

The power of the Muslim Brotherhood is growing
For the first time in the history of Cairo’s relations with the Gaza Strip, the ruling military junta permitted an Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood delegation to visit the Gaza Strip and meet Palestinian Hamas leaders. Coinciding with the delegation’s arrival Sunday, June 12, top Egyptian officials unleashed a wave of anti-Israeli venom in Cairo, the worst in recent years.
Without warning, inflammatory stories were released to the media in quick succession: a “Mossad officer” was accused of plotting to sabotage the Egyptian revolution and “inciting sectarian violence.” Israel was accused of contaminating farm products for Egyptian consumption and former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon imp.icated in the “corrupt” gas transaction ex-President Hosni Mubarak contracted with Israel.
The prime movers behind this campaign of anti-Israel defamation are named by debkafile’s intelligence sources as Gen. Murad Muwafi, Minister of Intelligence, and the Supreme State Security Prosecutor, Hisham Badawi. Putting the charges in the hands of the State Security Prosecutor is tantamount to labeling Israel a danger to Egyptian national security.
The third figure is Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Alarabi. He soon takes office as Secretary General of the Arab League and has made no secret of the radical anti-Israel policies he plans introduce.
Israeli leaders were thunderstruck by these machinations. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and nine members of his government were out of the country. Sunday, they began an exceptionally friendly three-day visit to Italy. A joint session with the Berlusconi government awaits them with other notable events. Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman is in Rome with the party, while Defense Minister Ehud Barak has gone to Beijing for another try to bring China aboard the international effort for keeping a nuclear bomb out of Iranian hands.
The Egyptian trio orchestrating the anti-Israel drive apparently used their absence to dump their poison without fear of an official response from Jerusalem. It was carefully synchronized: The arrival of the Muslim Brotherhood delegation to Gaza, headed by two Shura Council members Saad Hussaini and Mohsein Farouk, coincided with Cairo’s arrest of an Israeli “Mossad officer.”
The statement by the Supreme State Prosecutor’s office alleged that the Israeli spy – who was variously named as Aviran Green, Ilan Green and, later, on an Egyptian website, Ilan Haim Gavriel – entered Egypt after the uprising began on Jan. 25 posing as a foreign correspondent come to cover the anti-regime demonstrations in al-Tahrir Square. His real undercover mission, said the Egyptian statement, was to foment strife between Copts and Muslims and sabotage the revolution.
In today’s Cairo, there can be no more heinous allegation than turning the clock back to pre-revolution days by inciting chaos and sectarian strife. It amounts to charging Israel’s external security agency with fomenting anti-revolutionary anarchy. Responsibility is also fastened on the Jewish state for the Muslim Brothers’ May 9 attack on the Copt community of Cairo and its church and the death of 9 Copts.
Shortly after the “discovery” of an “Israeli spy,” Egyptian authorities accused Israel of trying to poison the population by secretly contaminating tomato seeds and plants produced by a Cypriot farm and sold to Egypt.
Finally, the prosecutor declared he had proof that the contract for the supply of Egyptian gas to Israel, now being held up as the quintessence of the Mubarak family’s corruption, was put together by the former president and the former prime minister in person when they agreed how to divide their ill-gotten spoils. source – DEBKA

As we have been telling you all along, the “youth movements for democracy” in Egypt and elsewhere have been nothing more than an organized plot by the Muslim Brotherhood, with the help of Obama, to seize power legally, as Hitler did in Nazi Germany. Now that the Muslim Brotherhood is an official political party in Egypt, the next step will be to have themselves elected into power, with the full and financial support of Obama, of course. We have said from the beginning that this was the plan, and this is exactly what you see happening right now. The biblical impact of all this will be the fulfillment of the war mentioned in Psalm 83, where we read how a Muslim “confederacy’ is created to come against Israel and the Jews.

“CAIRO – Egypt’s official news agency says the long banned Muslim Brotherhood has been recognized as the Freedom and Justice Party.
The announcement Tuesday would allow the group to run in parliamentary elections set for September. The Brotherhood is considered one of Egypt’s best organized blocs following the fall of longtime President Hosni Mubarak in February. It was founded in 1928 but outlawed since 1954.
Even so, it has built and maintained a powerful social welfare network. Its candidates, running as independents, won 20 percent of the vote in a 2005 parliamentary election.
The group has said it plans to field candidates in about half of Egypt’s districts.

Hamas Has 10,000+ Missiles Pointed At Israel

According to updates reaching debkafile’s military sources, the number of missiles Hamas has managed to stockpile in Gaza passed the 10,000 mark in early May – despite Israel’s partial blockade of the Gaza Strip. It is growing at the rate of some 30 new projectiles of many types smuggled in every two weeks. On April 9, the Palestinian fundamentalists shot 133 rockets at seven Israeli cities before Israel granted a ceasefire in lieu of an operation for smashing this arsenal.
Firing at the rate of 150 missiles a day, Hamas is currently capable of keeping southern Israel under constant attack for 66 days running.
When Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Security Committee May 30 about the Palestinian Hamas’s expanding control of Egyptian Sinai, he omitted to mention the arms smuggling tunnels which openly flout Israel’s blockade. The interaction between the Gaza Strip and Sinai and the effect it has of undermining Egypt’s sovereign control of the strategic peninsula, which he also mentioned, is an old story going back years.
What has changed since Hosni Mubarak’s ouster in February is that the Muslim Brotherhood and its offshoot Hamas have both gained traction in Egypt proper.
But Israel and its military continue to hold back from stemming the arms flow, now including anti-tank and anti-air missiles, into the Gaza Strip, just as they never interfered with Hizballah’s acquisition of thousands of advanced rockets from Iran and Syria.
Before the current ceasefire, Hamas demonstrated in a single day, Saturday, April 9, that its improved missiles could hit the fringes of Kiryat Gat 21 kilometers from Gaza and Rishon Lezion, double that distance. source – DEBKA

Egypt is rapidly becoming the Middle East’s largest terror state
Hamas is moving its headquarters from Damascus to Egypt, and the terror group is strengthening itself in the Sinai, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Security Committee Monday.
He also noted that the Muslim Brotherhood, from which Hamas sprung, also has become a more powerful force in Egypt since the ouster of Hosni Mubarak. The Prime Minister stated his concern about the inability of the provisional military regime in Egypt to exercise sovereignty in the Sinai, which borders Israel and from where Bedouin and Hamas terrorists smuggle weapons from Iran, Sudan, Syria and elsewhere into Gaza.
Al-Qaeda also has brought 400 terrorists into the area, according to an Egyptian official quoted by an Arab news agency,
The Prime Minister confirmed previous reports that Hamas supreme leader Khaled Mashaal has pulled out of Damascus, where his presence and welcome by Syrian President Bashar Assad is an additional worry for him in the face of the continuing uprising.
The vacuum of power in the Sinai has been illustrated by “the two gas explosions that occurred there” this year, Prime Minister Netanyahu told the Knesset committee. “Global terrorist organizations are interfering, there and their presence is increasing because of the geographic connection between Sinai and Gaza.” source – Arutz Sheva

You may not have noticed but over the past few months there have been a number of articles about the US government cracking down on “internet piracy”. Now by “piracy” they immediately are referring to stolen or counterfeit goods like sports memorabilia, designer watches, etc. Then after they floated that trial balloon, we read today in the article quoted below that that will now extended to “downloadable content” that you did not create or purchase yourself such as songs, videos and movies. But let me tell you, and you will not read this anywhere else, who the real target of the Obama administration is – web bloggers and people who repost story content.
Obama knows that in our social-obsessed society that if he cannot control the Internet, and what’s posted on there, then ultimately he cannot control his message. One of the most rapid means of information transfer in the world today is people who write for blogs and post on Facebook and Twitter. The entire Egyptian revolution by the Muslim Brotherhood was waged first on Facebook. So we will predict that the real intent of Obama’s crackdown on piracy is actually a veiled attempt to stop the flow of news and other information. But you have to start somewhere, right? And someday very soon, the act of reposting the story below taken from MSNBC, will be branded a crime by Obama. Obama is creating a “yellow star” shadow government, and it seems that there is little that can be done to stop him, other than to post and repost stories like this one.
“Amid growing calls for more government regulation of the Internet, the United States is conducting what it calls “a sustained law enforcement initiative aimed at counterfeiting and piracy” – an effort that already has resulted in arrests and the seizure of 125 websites. Ask anybody who uses a computer if they’ve ever downloaded or streamed media content for free on the Internet, and the answer most likely will be yes. The U.S. government and the American media industry say as much as a quarter of this kind of media traffic violates U.S. copyright law, and both are getting serious in their attempts to turn off the spigot.
The government and the media industry say U.S. copyright law (specifically, 18 USC 2319), states that distributing such content without permission from the copyright holder is a crime – copyright infringement. They generally use a simpler name: theft – of intellectual property, or “IP theft” for short.
The most recent skirmish in the escalating conflict occurred this week, when the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) announced that its Homeland Security Investigations unit had seized the domain names of five websites that it said were being used to sell counterfeit goods or illegally distribute copyrighted materials, including media content.
If convicted, the banner warns, even first-time offenders “will face up to five years in federal prison,” plus “restitution, forfeiture and fine.”
The crackdown – dubbed “Operation In Our Sites” – is being spearheaded by ICE’s National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center, working in coordination with U.S. attorneys’ offices across the country. This one is rapidly shaping up to be the mother of all conspiracy theories. Over the past few months, NTEB has patiently and precisely shown you how the “muslim youth movements for democracy” were actually an organized plan by the Muslims Brotherhood, along with President Obama providing America’s support, to drastically reshape the Middle East. We reported on that here, and here, as well as here. But talk is cheap until you throw some money on the table, so now here come’s the billions that the terrorists so desperately need to finish the work they started. And as we stated, the end result of all this “reshaping” will be a strong, united, militant Islamic region that will very soon come to attack Israel as the bible has said it would happen in the end of time.
“DEAUVILLE, France — Group of Eight leaders promised Friday to support new Arab democracies, according to a statement they were due to release following a meeting in the northern French resort town of Deauville.
The statement said development banks could provide “over $20 billion” for Egypt and Tunisia — where the uprisings were successful — for 2011-2013 in support of “suitable reform efforts.”
“The changes under way in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are historic and have the potential to open the door to the kind of transformation that occurred in Central and Eastern Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall,” said the statement, a copy of which was obtained in advance by Reuters.
“We, members of the G-8, strongly support the aspirations of the Arab Spring as well as those of the Iranian people,” it added. The G-8 consists of the U.S., Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, the U.K. and Japan.” source – MSNBC
