Dec 25th
God has given YOU the greatest gift you will ever know
Merry Christmas to all our awesome NTEB fans and family…we sure do appreciate you!
Our sins have separated us from a righteous and holy God, but in His Mercy and love towards us He has made a way of escape for all those who seek it.

God loves you so much He gave you the gift of His only begotten son to pay YOUR sin debt. Please receive this gift right now!
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” Romans 5: 8-10

You Can Be Saved–Right Now. ”That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” Romans 10: 9-10

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” Romans 10:13

Tim Tebow Takes Jesus With Him To NY Jets Press Conference
Mar 26th
Tim Tebow still sharing the gospel
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
I tuned into the New York jet’s press conference on the recent acquisition of Tim Tebow, and the very first thing I heard was…
…”I am happy to stand up for the gospel of Jesus Christ.” God bless you, Tim Tebow. NTEB is happy to continue to report on your football career as you honor the Lord of Glory.
From MSNBC: Johnson said the purpose of adding Tebow is simple: He can add to what the Jets do on offense.
“I think Tim Tebow will be a good addition to the team,” Johnson said. “From a football standpoint, he adds flexibility, versatility, he’s a great athlete, he’s a big athlete. He can do a lot of things besides being quarterback, besides being the backup quarterback. I think all those things are going to make us a better and stronger team going forward. I’m excited to have him on board.”
Tebow, of course, does a lot more than just add flexibility to the offense. He also adds a whole lot of attention to the franchise. But Johnson denied that the Tebow acquisition was about selling tickets, jerseys or personal seat licenses, and he denied that the Jets are trying to take some of the attention in New York away from the Giants. source – MSNBC
The NFL’s Pigskin Prophet Tim Tebow Signs With New York Jets
Mar 21st
The NFL’s Pigskin Prophet
All last year, there was no escaping the Main Event that was Tim Tebow. Functioning more as an evangelist than a quarterback, Tebow brought revival to Denver and made John 3:16 one of the most re-tweeted topics since Twitter began at 9,240 tweets-per-second. So now he has been traded to the New York Jets and will be a daily fixture on the back cover of the News and the Post. The only question remains is how New York will react to the NFL’s Pigskin Prophet as he continues to lift up his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Tim, NTEB supports you 100%. Stay tuned…
From PFT: One day after the Denver Broncos signed Peyton Manning as their new starting quarterback, Denver has traded Tebow to the Jets, as first reported by Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.
Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that the Jets will send the Broncos their fourth-round draft pick. Additionally, the Broncos will send a seventh-round pick to the Jets and receive a sixth-round pick from the Jets.
The trade ends a tenure in Denver with Tebow that was one of the most astonishing two-year stints that any player has ever had with any team. Tebow was a surprise first-round draft pick in the 2010 NFL draft, then surprisingly became the starter in the fifth game of the 2011 season, and then shockingly led the Broncos to a series of improbable comeback victories and became arguably the NFL’s biggest star.
And now Tebow is with the Jets, one of the many teams he beat with a great fourth-quarter comeback last season. It’s not clear whether the Jets plan to allow Tebow to compete for the starting job, or whether they expect him to be a wildcat quarterback, but the player who’s as famous as any in the league is now in the Big Apple.

Tebow’s Appearance At Vegas Church Draws 20,000
Mar 6th
LAS VEGAS (AP) — This weekend, the long lines, huge crowds and jersey-clad sports fans in Las Vegas were jockeying for a chance to get into church.
An estimated 20,000 people, including one family that arrived at 4 a.m. Saturday to be the first in line, showed up at Canyon Ridge Christian Church over the weekend to hear Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow share about faith and football.

“You get bashed against the rocks sometimes,” Tebow said Sunday at one of the church’s four weekend services. “But when you have a relationship with Christ … One of my favorite quotes is, ‘I don’t know what my future holds, but I know who holds it.’ I know what my rock is. I know who’s holding my future.”
Tebow has attracted immense media scrutiny for his unconventional throwing style and his outspoken Christian faith. His routine of dropping to a knee after a touchdown has evolved into a cultural phenomenon dubbed “Tebowing.” He coached senior pastor Kevin Odor on how to strike the prayer pose during their interview-style talks on the church stage.
“One of the reasons I get on a knee is because that’s a form of humbling yourself,” Tebow explained. “I want to humble myself before the Lord and say thank you for this opportunity. Thank you for letting me play the game I love.”
The 24-year-old talked about the Bible verses written in the eye black he wears during the game — he said he was shocked that 94 million people did a Google search for “John 3:16″ after he wore it during the 2009 national championship. He talked about his teammates teasing him for not cursing on the field.
And he discussed his visits to orphans, hospitalized children and jails.
He visits death row inmates “just to shake their hand or give them a hug when I’m not supposed to, because the guards get mad, to show them someone still cares and loves them and that God forgives them and still wants a relationship with them. It’s one of the coolest things I get to do.”
Beyond the Tebow-mania in the church auditorium and the overflow tent on the Las Vegas campus, Odor said more than 1,000 people had logged on to the church’s website to watch a live feed of one Saturday night service, hailing from far-flung countries including Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

God Doesn’t Care About Football. Right?
Jan 9th
Wrong. To think God is incapable of using ANYTHING to reach his flock is foolish. Why can’t that be a sport? NOTHING is impossible with God, and he is willing to do whatever it takes in order to reach us. Do you see any other celebrity right now with this much “religious” attention? Having said that, OF COURSE God cares about football.
The phrase I keep hearing lately is how Tim Tebow is being rewarded for his faith. That is a valid statement, without a doubt! But it’s not the big picture here. Before we tackle (pun intended of course) what IS the big picture, let’s take a look at the most recent Tebow facts, from the playoff game on January 8th, 2012, against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In this game, Tebow threw a total of 316 yards. He also averaged 31.6 yards per pass, and the TV ratings on this game were…you won’t believe this…31.6 million viewers. Maybe it’s just me, but is there some sort of repeating number pattern there??? Think that is a coincidence? Guess what…with God, there are no coincidences. That game made history in the sports world, setting records.
Twitter and Facebook practically blew up within seconds of Tebow’s history making overtime score. Twitter says 9,420 Tweets PER SECOND were sent after the win. PER SECOND. Wanna take a stab at how many people that reached? Can you honestly say you didn’t see something about the player or the game in your news feed last night or today?
Ok, with just those few facts, is there MAYBE a chance that God cares about football? I’d say yes, and here’s why. Although many want to say God is unfair, it couldn’t be further from the truth. Yes, there are hard times on Earth, and no we don’t always get what we want in this life. God gives you free will to choose, but he also drops hints, and gives countless opportunities to “see the light.” Some people get it in church, some people get it from friends, some get it from the Bible. For those who don’t, though, perhaps God is using a very popular player on a very popular team in a very popular sport, to reach them.
Maybe that’s why on January 8th, 2012, John 3:16 was the most searched verse on Google. Perhaps God IS capable of using all these things to bring attention to him? Yeah, even football.
Speaking of bible verses and Tebow, everyone knows he used his face paint as a way to spread Bible scripture. Since he can no longer do that in the NFL, he now writes it on his armband and takes to Facebook. Here’s a fun little game for you…next time there’s a Bronco’s game, follow these steps:
1. Go to Tebow’s facebook or Twitter.
2. Write down the verse he’s posted (since he does so EVERY game day).
3. Take that info to Google.
4. Watch in amazement that before you’ve finished typing the name of the book, the full verse pops up. That’s because thousands and thousands of Tebow fans are looking for the same info. This is a search that many people may not normally do, yet on that day, its the top Biblical search on Google each time. God’s quarterback? That’s a given.
Now, evaluate all this information. Are there other ways of reaching us? Yes. Does the same thing work for everyone? No. Is football some secret event that only a few of us know about? Nope. So, knowing that God is not only able but willing to pull out all the stops in order to herd his sheep, tell me once more that God doesn’t care about football.
Tim Tebow Delivers John 3:16 Message While World Watches
Jan 9th
Has Tim Tebow and John 3:16 made a believer out of you yet?
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
From the LA Times: Much fun has been made about Tim Tebow’s devotion to Christianity. Some people complain that the Denver Broncos quarterback mentions God and Jesus too much. But even when he remains silent on the issue, Tebow gets his message across. Just take a look at a couple of items from Sunday’s 29-23 overtime victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
1. He passed for 316 yards against the Steelers.
Which brings to mind perhaps the most famous Bible verse of all, John 3:16.
Who needs a rainbow-haired guy holding up a John 3:16 sign when you have Tebow?
2. Tebow set an NFL playoff record with 31.6 yards per completion.
31.6? John 3:16? Stop, it’s getting spooky now.
3. His favorite receiver Sunday was Demaryius Thomas.
Thomas had 204 receiving yards and was responsible for the game-winning touchdown in overtime.
And when was Thomas born? Dec. 25, 1987. Hmm, who else has a birthday celebrated on Dec. 25? (The answer is not Santa Claus.)
So, you may be able to silence Tim Tebow, but apparently you can’t contain him. Somehow, some way, his message comes through.

Fox Rejects John 3:16 Super Bowl Ad
Jan 29th
Anything but God goes in today’s media world. There are very few limits to to the garbage that can be promoted in in music, movies, television and advertising, but when it comes to the message of Jesus Christ, given by God to save the world from their sins and give those who believe in Him eternal life, that’s taking things a bit too far.
Just before the fourth quarter of the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Green Bay Packers game, the
30-second biblical spot popped up to the surprise of football fans in Washington, D.C.
It also aired in Birmingham, Ala
Ads aired during the Super Bowl are especially expensive and high profile, and there tends to be at least some controversy over ads put out each year. Last year, pro-abortion group Planned Parenthood had a total conniption over an ad with a very simple pro-life message featuring NFL quarterback Tim Tebow and his mother. The ad was backed by Focus on the Family and was themed “Celebrate family, celebrate life.” News media went above and beyond to highlight criticism of the ad, but foes were unsuccessful in preventing it from airing.
This year, Fixed Point Foundation, a group that sponsors debates between Christians and atheists at universities around the nation, put together a “LookUp 316″ ad that would bring the gospel message to over 100 million viewers tuning in for the big game. This time, it didn’t even take a big stir by outside groups to put a stop to this message; Fox Broadcasting rejected the ad all on their own stating in a letter to Fixed Point that they “would not air anything with religious doctrine.”
“If I had 30 seconds to say anything I wanted to an audience of millions, what would I say?” writes Larry Taunton, executive director of Fixed Point, in a blog post explaining the Super Bowl ad. “I put this question to my friends. As we considered the question thoughtfully, we concluded that we would want to deliver a message of hope.”
He continues, “A year and a tremendous amount of work later, we are close to airing a commercial that advertises no products, asks for no money, promotes no political platform and doesn’t even mention the sponsoring organization. It has a simple, yet direct message: Hope. The ‘hope’ on offer in this commercial centers around the message of John 3:16: ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his only son.’”
Fixed Point released a statement criticizing Fox’s decision:
“It seems one can advertise just about anything else. Few movie trailers are deemed too violent or beer commercials too sexual for primetime. But religious messages, particularly Christian ones, well, that’s just too controversial.”
