Texas Schools Punish Students Who Refuse To Be Tracked With Microchips
The mark of the beast draws closer
A school district in Texas came under fire earlier this year when it announced that it would require students to wear microchip-embedded ID cards at all times. Now students who refuse to be monitored say they are feeling the repercussions.
Since October 1, students at John Jay High School and Anson Jones Middle School in San Antonia, Texas have been asked to attend class clasping onto photo ID cards equipped with radio-frequency identification chips to keep track of each and every pupil’s personal location.
Educators insist that the endeavor is being rolled out in Texas to relax the rampant truancy rates devastating the state’s school and the subsequent funding they are failing to receive as a result, and pending the program’s success the RFID chips could soon come to 112 schools in all and affect nearly 100,000 students.
Some pupils say they are already seeing the impact, though, and it’s not one they are very anxious to experience. Students who refuse to walk the schoolhouse halls with a location-sensitive sensor in their pocket or around their neck are being tormented by instructors and being barred from participating in certain school-wide functions, with some saying they are even being turned away from common areas like cafeterias and libraries.
Andrea Hernandez, a sophomore at John Jay, says educators have ignored her pleas to have her privacy respected and have told her she can’t participate in school elections if she doesn’t submit to the tracking program.
To Salon, Hernandez says subjecting herself to constant monitoring by way of wearing a RFID chip is comparable to clothing herself in the “mark of the beast.” When she reached out to WND.com to reveal the school’s response, though, she told them that she was threatened with exclusion from picking a homecoming king and queen for not adhering to the rules.
“I had a teacher tell me I would not be allowed to vote because I did not have the proper voter ID,” Hernandez told WND. “I had my old student ID card which they originally told us would be good for the entire four years we were in school. He said I needed the new ID with the chip in order to vote.”
Even after Hernandez politely refused to wear an RFID chip, Deputy Superintendent Ray Galindo offered a statement that suggests that both the student’s religious and civil liberty-anchored arguments will only allow her some leeway for so long.
“We are simply asking your daughter to wear an ID badge as every other student and adult on the Jay campus is asked to do,” Galindo wrote to the girl’s parents, WND reports. If she is allowed to forego the tracking now, he continued, it could only be a matter of time before the school signs off on making location-monitoring mandatory and the repercussions will be more than just revoking voting rights for homecoming contests.
“I urge you to accept this solution so that your child’s instructional program will not be affected. As we discussed, there will be consequences for refusal to wear an ID card as we begin to move forward with full implementation,” Galindo continued.
The girl’s father, Steve Hernandez, tells WND that the school has been somewhat willing to work with the daughter’s demands, but insists that her family “would have to agree to stop criticizing the program” and start publically supporting it.
“I told him that was unacceptable because it would imply an endorsement of the district’s policy and my daughter and I should not have to give up our constitutional rights to speak out against a program that we feel is wrong,” Mr. Hernandez responded.
By reversing the poor attendance figures, the Northside Independent School District is expected to collect upwards of $2 million in state funding, with the program itself costing around one-quarter of that to roll out and another $136,005 annually to keep it up and running. The savings the school stands to make in the long run won’t necessarily negate the other damages that could arise: Heather Fazio, of Texans for Accountable Government tells WND that for $30 she filed a Freedom of Information Act request and received the names and addresses of every student in the school district.
“Using this information along with an RFID reader means a predator could use this information to determine if the student is at home and then track them wherever they go. These chips are always broadcasting so anyone with a reader can track them anywhere,” she says.
Kirsten Bokenkamp of the ACLU told the San Antonio Express-News earlier this year that her organization was expecting to challenge the board’s decision this to roll out the tracking system, but the school has since gone ahead anyway. Steve Hernandez tells WND that he approached the ACLU for possible representation in his daughter’s case, but Rebecca Robertson of a local branch of the organization said, “the ACLU of Texas will not be able to represent you or your daughter in this matter,” saying his daughter’s case in particular fails to meet the criteria they use to pick and choose civil liberties cases to take on. source – RT

This is my opinion:
I guess this is the first step of our country becoming like Nazi Germany or Russia under Stalin when people have to have a mark or an ID telling the leader who they are and where they are at all times. Why don’t they do it like they did to the Jews in Germany in WW-II by tattooing a number on their arms it would just as much as the RFID chips. I bet the school officials don’t wear on with a RFID chip in it.
I guess once the federal government requires everyone to wear one then it will be all right. I guess this will be only for the citizen of this country not the illegals that are here in this country.
Way to go Texas you make the students proud to be American citizens where you can keep tabs on them all the time.

And once kids start acting like kids and losing their cards? The technology has been available for over 30 years to tattoo a fish swimming past a laser without stopping, and it doesn’t feel a thing. Will they use this technology on our children? Will they tattoo their wrist with a laser tattoo, readable only by another laser? The tattoo is not visible to the human eye, so why would anyone object? This truly sounds like the “mark of the beast”. It gives me goose bumps: it sounds like this school is trying out the program: a front runner to soften the way for the REAL program. ALL of us must stand with these parents and let this schoolboard know how we feel about their trampling on students’ rights to free speech and free movement. They certainly think they’re something special when they tell the parents they have to stop speaking out against them, or the student will suffer! That’s blackmail! The money is more important to them than the welfare of the students! They are wrong in so very many ways!

I began home schooling my children way back before it was popular because I didn’t like the things they were being taught. However, when I had more children and it was nearly impossible to pay bills unless both my husband and I worked, the kids went back to public school. When the first Harry Potter book became mandatory reading, I went back to home schooling, and because of my particular training, I was able to teach from 9-noon, and work out of my house from 1-6. I realize not everyone can do this and kids have to go to school. If I had kids in school now with this type of ID being mandatory, I think there is a compromise that can be made. The school says the reason for the ID cards is because of truancy–so why are all kids wearing the card with the chip? I would think the school could say that kids who have proven to be truant in the past should be the ones to have this type of card, while the other kids can use the old type without the chip. I’m sure the truant kids’ parents will throw fits over that but since that is the purpose of the ID chip according to the school, then only make it about the kids who are truant and not those who are honor students, and not truant.

This should be a Big heads up – also you all might c/out an event in Coachella California some time back ( you can U Tube it) where these kids were given these tracking bracelets and to obey everything at this event. You got to check it out for yourselves, it very repulsing. Kathren Albreicht (forget how she spells her name but she manages a website . The really good news is our God did warn us of these difficult times but we can find perfect peace (as Paul did) in Christ Jesus our Lord, I truly believe He will remove His Bride before Daniels 70th week, not as an escape but for who He is, along w/Paul’s writings in Thessalonians also Mathew 24 where our Lord is speaking was to the Jewish people before the Church came to be after the Pentecost, Jesus most likely knew this at the time but would of been very confusing then and now to the Jews during Daniels week. This is my opinion, it makes sense to me. He promised to keep us out of ‘that’ hour, we do return w/Him when Jesus sets His foot on the mount of olives, we are out of here, soon, so spread the good news and do not worry about the near future, He is the Almighty, the war is not between God and Satan (Satan is already whooped) but of Satan and man (Eph.6) God bless you all and read Eph. 6 in order to have the tools to kick Satan and his minions rear ends through Jesus our Jehovah Yirei !

Students listen- exchange cards within the same gender so girls don’t get done by the data monitors for spending too long in the men’s room..then exchange id cards again after school…..if this hierarchical dangerous enforced progrom is spread then swap cards with other schools….this is outrageous..!

How many of you support photo voter ID identification? How do you expect schools to provide for the welfare of the students without funding? Maybe you are too worried about the symptom of a much larger problem facing public schools. Public schools get their funding based on student attendance. Perhaps you should petition government to change how schools get their funding so that school districts do not need to adopt microchip-enhanced identification cards. I agree with some of you though, the parents need to step up. They need to step up and make sure their kids are going to school and have the resources they need to succeed in our society.
