Just two weeks ago, Chick-fil-A was a fast-food restaurant best known for chicken sandwiches and cross-cut fries. Now the chain is known for much more, chiefly its opposition to gay marriage.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has declared Aug. 1 — today — Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, encouraging residents nationwide who support traditional values to plunk down some money and let the Christian-run company know it’s not alone.
“We are closing in on 500,000 attendees for Chick fil-A Appreciation day,” Huckabee said on his Facebook page this week, urging other like-minded individuals to continue to get the word out about the counter-protest.
Roger S. Oldham said he never anticipated this level of controversy. Oldham, a representative for the Baptist Press, a news service dedicated to Christian Baptist news, said the news service picked up and published what seemed to be a fairly routine story in mid-July.
It was a profile of Dan Cathy, president of the popular fast-food chain that proudly abides by Bible-based principals. (It is, for example, closed on Sundays.)
Cathy took the opportunity of the interview to proclaim his — and his company’s — opposition to gay marriage. “Guilty as charged,” Cathy said, adding that Chick-fil-A supports “the biblical definition of the family unit.” source – LA Times
Now The End Begins field correspondent Susan Ryan Stotesbury, reporting in from the largely liberal Austin, Texas area, took this shot while waiting to get in line to order lunch at Chick-fil-a today. Susan said that the line was out into the street, and bible-believing Christians were everywhere.

You know what David, I am a Messianic Jew by choice, we, I mean we, as followers of Yeshua need to put Constantine in his place DEAD!!! My husband and I ate at Chick-Fil-A today around 4:30 p.m. The place was packed!!!!!!! The road leading into the restaurant was backed up, and there were police directing traffic. We could see from the road the multitudes of people enjoying the day and waiting in line, and in the drive-tru, to support a wonderful Christian organization! † <3

Our Chick-Fil-A was packed out around the building and cars lined up to the major highway! I got goose bumps thinking about how all these people stood up (literally for hours) to those who want to control our opinions and beliefs! We said enough is enough today! Hope this sends a clear message to the Dems. and Obama that you better look out come November!!! Please step aside and let our nation get back to the morality of the Bible and stop this foolishness!

For those who say they know and love Jesus (Yahushua) but don’t know the name he came in or how his name fits into it, without that drive to find truth or our help in their search we can only hope and pray that YHWH himself will open their eyes!
