JC Penny Celebrates Mother’s Day With Ad Showing Lesbian Partners

From Daily Mail UK: The conservative group One Million Moms has launched an attack on JCPenney for featuring a lesbian couple in its new Mother’s Day promotion. The group released a statement urging its members to take action against the brand’s store managers, in the hope their complaints will be passed on to head office.

According to its website, One Million Moms (OMM) is angry JCPenney is ‘taking sides’ in the ‘cultural war’ on gay rights.
The statement says: ‘On pages ten and eleven, under the title “Freedom of Expression,” you’ll find “Wendi and her partner Maggie and daughters”. In the picture both women are wearing wedding bands.’ They then go on to lament their frustration with the company’s lack of interest in the groups constant attacks.
‘Last time OMM contacted JCPenney store managers, we were brushed off,’ the statement said. ‘Some even experienced in person the store manager saying “Thank you” and walking off while their customer and our concerned members were in mid-sentence.’It continued: ‘OMM has been told that JCP corporate office told store managers to say “Thank you” and then walk away. After commemorating Mother’s Day with an ad featuring two lesbians, JCPenney is releasing a Father’s Day ad depicting two gay men and their children. The recent ad, published in their June catalog, states that a father is a “swim coach, tent maker, best friend, bike fixer and hug giver – all rolled into one. Or two.”

Look at who really owns companies like Penny’s. look at who really owns the Media. Only then will you realise that using same gender relationships is nothing more than a smoke screen. the ad campaigns are formulated to detract from the real issues. the very same issues Obama is dodging with his remarks on gay marriage. do a search for “power of the ring”. watch all episodes then revisit the comments by Obama and Penny’s and you will see the truth.

To Arley and Jody…exactly my feelings. I have always shopped JCP but not now. I did see this coming when they chose a lesbian as their spokesperson. They may be looking for a good excuse to close their stores…bankruptcy…if you will.

Absolutely correct fga,,,It all hinges on “Whom do you serve?” If you serve God, then you have read the Scriptures you listed. If then you intentionally reject the warnings therein, you cannot serve God and mammon.

I could buy your statement in a christian life if the repentance was full and deep.But how often is it? Most times willfull sin(deliberate) is repeated sin is it not,the same one again and again.Does the typical christian truly repent like it will really never happen again.Does he or she stain in between those failure?If not are they still forgiven when they confess and repent?Think about it this way have you ever commited one sin after you were saved.If so does that mean there remains no more sacrifice for sins but a fearful looking for judgement(hebrews 10:26).I have willfully sinned 100s of times(1john9-10) since i have been saved of the holy spirit and the holy spirit hasnt left me that obviously isnt saying what it appears to say to be honest unless it is speaking of those who backslide so far to the point of apostacy ,where they start deny the blood of christ as a holy thing. I think it may be speaking of those who WILLFULLY begin to deny the blood of christ that once sanctified and trodden them under the foot of the son of man(hebrew10:29).That is my take on it,I still beleive in enteral security as long as u have faith in christ even backsliders still have faith in christ ,but if u fall away to the point where u start to deny the blood of christ where with were once sanctified and speak against christ saying you are no longer have faith in his blood antonement , i dare say that would be dangerous postion to be in. Upon birth,unless an infant is physically held by both parents to establish an emotional bond and connection, that child will grow up as an emotionally disturbed non productive individual. That’s the kind of results people march to be proud of ? All this and immorality while children are being placed into all day daycare & preschool so the state can be seen by the child as the authority. J C Penny is showing itself to be another P & G that claims to be family oriented while giving profits to support the church of Satan.

AS an ALPHA male I can understand the movement toward all the women becoming lesbines.MOST all ALPHA males are in prison now because when they looked at the fat whores that called themselves mothers,they wanted to throw up when they saw her with her clothes off.SO I would expect to see more of this not less,and the government loves it….as there all fat pigs to,it seems that not only are the people becoming stupider,but care less about what happens to their kids at school and NOW to add insult to injury they have thrown their bible in the trash and worship idols and the devil too!!!!! Thank you for saying so, Korra. I am so saddened by all the hate in these comments. Those of you commenting, how is it any of your business what others do with their lives? Especially when it is in regards to a loving relationship between two people? I don’t care if you think it is a sin. I honestly have no idea where I stand on that myself. There are so many things I have done with no ill will that I think may be sinful. I don’t know, but nothing gives us the right to make those judgements about anyone but ourselves. I truly believe that the best way we can live our lives is just to treat each other with love and try to make the best personal decisions we can. We have no moral obligation to discriminate against others. Please don’t do your children the disservice of teaching them to hate their fellow humans.

I wonder why a retail store has taken a side on such a controversial issue whether you agree or not. I think they should spend a little more effort on the quality and showcase of their merchandise. I don’t shop there because of the over prices junk I can buy for half the price at Wal-Mart or Dollar General.
