That’s why people (who speak English as their primary language) who are serious about their Bible Study will use the KJV in conjunction with a Strong’s concordance. You say you do not like the KJV, but are you fluent in biblical Greek and Hebrew? You certainly act as though you are.

I don’t wish to argue.. But saying one translation of the Bible is the only one you should use, is rather silly.

KJV is neat and all, but it’s still just a translation. Translations are NEVER 100% accurate. In order to get a full understanding, complete, you need to study the ancient Greek and Hebrew.

Also, it’s not like someone in China is going to worship and study, using the King James Version~. Just saying. :3

I honestly do not like the KJV. If you truly want to get the full understanding, you HAVE to go back to the Greek, and Ancient Hebrew text. Many, many things are ‘different’ in the KJV, and other translations.

The words aren’t different, persay.. But through translation, things can be interpreted wrong. Subtle, most of the time, but you can learn a great many things about God and the Bible, just by seeing the meaning of the Hebrew and Greek words.
