What bothers me is the continued “trust” we place in Afghan military trainees, and our hard earned tax dollars into their hands. Nation building is a frost.
Yes, I know. We are helping them build a centralized government to bring order to the country, so a stable society can emerge. But If we don’t protect our own and let this go on, we’re stupid, sitting ducks.
At least that newborn baby girl left on the roadside found a loving home. That shows that some people there have a heart.

Who’s coming? By the way, not to be hoity-toity, but at least be grammatically correct. Your context should be using they’re as in “they are”. Their means “belonging to them”.

It is my fervent prayer that the new administration will pull our troops from all middle east areas and let them organize their own governments. We have lost enough sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters. It is time to close out this part of American history and move forward. We are friends of Israel and should remain so, and be there to help protect them in the event of an attack there, but that’s it. And I hope Mr. Romney is of the same mind.
