Muslims Begin Construction On $100 Million American Mosque

On Wednesday, May 15, 2013, Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan placed a ceremonial stone on a 15-acre construction site in Lanham, Maryland that will likely become the largest and most striking examples of Islamic architecture in the western hemisphere.
The TACC Center will consist of five main buildings: a masjid constructed using 16th century classical Ottoman architecture that can hold 760 worshipers; a two-story, 19,990 SF Cultural Center Building including a 220-seating performance hall; a 9,850 SF recreational building with a 180-seat restaurant and traditional coffee shop; a 43,450 SF traditional Turkish bath for up to 22 people at a time and indoor pool and sports center; and 18,500 SF of guest housing including 16 one-bedroom apartment units.
The project is well underway, and two industrial cranes tower over the skyline along Good Luck Road. Concrete and steel pillars are up, and even two small domes are already visible. TACC leaders estimate the complex will be completed by October 2014.

The Turkish American Culture and Civilization Center (TACC) is a project of the government of Turkey and is meant to”serve as a social, cultural, and religious center for all visitors, including activities for the promotion and introduction of the values of the Turkish Civilization” according to an information packet distributed by TACC at the invitation only ground breaking ceremony.

“The President has put in place an organization with the kind of database that no one has ever seen before in life,” Representative Maxine Waters told Roland Martin on Monday. “That’s going to be very, very powerful,” Waters said.
“That database will have information about everything on every individual on ways that it’s never been done before and whoever runs for President on the Democratic ticket has to deal with that. They’re going to go down with that database and the concerns of those people because they can’t get around it.

IRS chief takes the 5th, won’t testify
Highlighting today’s House Oversight Committee hearing is IRS official Lois Lerner’s decision to invoke the Fifth Amendment and not answer questions. Lerner is still under subpoena to testify, meaning she will have to invoke her rights in person — and likely repeatedly.

Also appearing is Douglas Shulman, the former IRS commissioner who also testified in front of a Senate committee on Tuesday. Rounding out the witnesses are the inspector general who investigated the wrongdoing — J. Russell George — and Deputy Treasury Secretary Neal S. Wolin, who learned of the investigation into the IRS’s targeting last summer.
Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-Mass.) told IRS officials on the panel that there will be “hell to pay” if they refuse to answer the committee’s questions — a message clearly targeted at Lois Lerner, whose lawyer has said she will plead the Fifth Amendment and not answer questions.
“If you refuse to answer,” Lynch said, “you will leave us no choice but to ask for a special counsel or the appointment of a special prosecutor to get to the bottom of this.”
Lynch added: “I hope that’s not the approach of the IRS going forward, because there will be hell to pay.”
Lynch’s superior on the committee, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), previously asked the committee to respect Lerner’s right to plead the Fifth.
Jim Jordan ties IRS scandal to Benghazi
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), who chairs an oversight subcommittee on regulatory affairs and government spending, sought to tie the situation at the Internal Revenue Service to the panel’s ongoing investigation into the Sept. 11, 2012 attack at the U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, Libya that killed four Americans.
Jordan dismissed statements by the Obama administration and IRS officials that just a handful of employees were aware of and conducted improper review of organizations seeking tax-exempt status, saying he didn’t believe those explanations since the same officials worked together to decide how the agency would reveal the improper actions at a May 10 conference hosted by the American Bar Association.
Then, Jordan tied the ongoing woes at the IRS to the Benghazi attack, another subject under review by the committee
“This administration, which told us and told the American people that the attack that killed four Americans in Benghazi was the work — was caused by a video — is now the same administration who expects us to believe was just the result of two rogue agents in Cincinnati,” Jordan said. “The people don’t buy it, the American people get it. Drone Makes Surprise Appearance At Kids Swim Meet In FL

A chilling effect
This is conspiracy, but not a theory. I saw it with my own eyes. It happened tonight at a children’s swim meet in Northeast Florida. I was watching my children participate in the season-opener swim meet, and it was nearly over, just one more race to go. When, without warning, a drone appeared seemingly from nowhere, and began to circle slowly overhead.
I took these photos tonight on my iPhone as the drone hovered overhead for nearly five minutes.
A collective hush fell on the crowd of nearly 100 people as the drone slowly but methodically circled overhead. Disbelief was the expression on most of the faces of the people who saw it. As I stood there, snapping pictures and video, my mind began to race and recall some of the drone stories we have done in the last year.

I remembered New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg telling us that “it’s now Big Brother, and you better get used to it.” I remembered the story we did on how President Obama has now authorized drones to monitor people’s cell phone usage from the sky. Even the story about the Maple Seed Drones developed by US Governmental supplier Lockheed Martin.
Friends, the promise of Barack Hussein Obama to ‘fundamentally change America’ has come true. The America we love and used to know is gone, and it’s never coming back. George Orwell said that the “Big Brother” society he warned us about would take place in 1984. He was only off by 29 years.
Obama was caught up this week in the terrifying IRS targeting of conservatives and Tea Party-based groups who like to pray to God and read the Constitution. Drones are monitoring children’s swim meets, and soon will be an accepted fact of every day life. Obama is on record as of yesterday saying that he ‘offers no apologies’ for any of the scandals he and his administration are currently involved in. And he means it. He is not sorry one single bit, and given the chance, he will enslave America in exactly the same way as Hitler did to Germany in 1932.
Obama is busy now creating his private civilian army that will rival the United States military, as he promised to do in 2008. But he won’t be the ‘commander-in-chief’ of this army.

Will NYC ‘Harmless’ Toxic Gas Subway Drill Explode Into Terror?

At the exact time of the Newtown School Shooting in Sandy Hook, our federal government was running an active shooter drill staged around a school shooting. At the time of the Boston Marathon Shooting, our federal government was conducting a drill based on what would happen if a shooter started hitting runners. So now that word comes that a “drill” will be conducted in the New York City subway system around toxic gas being released, it’s nearly a sure bet that actual toxic gas will be released resulting in the deaths of dozens of people.
One thing is for sure, though: if our federal government comes to your town to conduct a “safety drill”, run as far away and as fast as you can.
From RT: The New York City Police Department announced Wednesday that it will deploy, then track, what it calls “harmless” gases into the city’s subway system over three non-consecutive days this summer.
The plan, to be enacted in July, will investigate New York’s readiness to handle a chemical terrorist attack by dispersing the colorless gas and tracing it as it flows through the city, according to Scientific American. The test is expected to cost $3.4 million and is scheduled to be carried out in all five boroughs and dozens of stations on 21 of the city’s 34 subway lines.
“The NYPD works for the best but plans for the worst when it comes to potentially catastrophic attacks such as ones employing radiological contaminants or weaponized anthrax,” police commissioner Ray Kelly said in a statement.
The police will use roughly 200 detectors to monitor the gas. Dubbed the Subway-Surface Air Flow Exchange, the test will be the largest of its kind and organized in cooperation with the energy department’s Brookhaven National Laboratory. They’ll use perfluorocarbon tracer gases (PFTs), which are frequently used to measure potential sites for underground construction.
Despite the science fiction catastrophe a plan of this magnitude naturally conjures, Fernando Ferrer, the acting chairman of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority maintained that it will not impact commuters.
“The NYPD, in partnership with the MTA, is responsible for keeping more than 5 million daily subway customers safe and secure,” he said in a statement Wednesday. “This study will bolster the NYPD’s understanding of contaminant dispersion within the subway system as well as between the subway system and street, thereby improving its ability to better protect both customers and the city population at large.”
The scheduled gas deployment comes years after investigators foiled an Al-Qaeda terrorist plot to bomb the New York subways, the largest public transportation system in the world. Three men had planned to detonate suicide vests just days before the eighth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in what US Attorney General Eric Holder at the time called “one of the most serious threats” to the United States since 2001. source – RT
IRS Official in Charge During Tea Party Targeting Now Runs ObamaCare Office

The Internal Revenue Service official in charge of the tax-exempt organizations at the time when the unit targeted tea party groups now runs the IRS office responsible for the health care legislation.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell also reacted to the revelation late Thursday, stating the news was “stunning, just stunning.”
Sarah Hall Ingram served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012. But Ingram has since left that part of the IRS and is now the director of the IRS’ Affordable Care Act office, the IRS confirmed to ABC News today.
Her successor, Joseph Grant, is taking the fall for misdeeds at the scandal-plagued unit between 2010 and 2012. During at least part of that time, Grant served as deputy commissioner of the tax-exempt unit.
Grant announced today that he would retire June 3, despite being appointed as commissioner of the tax-exempt office May 8, a week ago.
As the House voted to fully repeal the Affordable Care Act Thursday evening, House Speaker John Boehner expressed “serious concerns” that the IRS is empowered as the law’s chief enforcer.
“Fully repealing ObamaCare will help us build a stronger, healthier economy, and will clear the way for patient-centered reforms that lower health care costs and protect jobs,” Boehner, R-Ohio, said.
“Obamacare empowers the agency that just violated the public’s trust by secretly targeting conservative groups,” Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-Ind., added. “Even by Washington’s standards, that’s unacceptable.”
Sen. John Cornyn even introduced a bill, the “Keep the IRS Off Your Health Care Act of 2013,” which would prohibit the Secretary of the Treasury, or any delegate, including the IRS, from enforcing the Affordable Care Act.
“Now more than ever, we need to prevent the IRS from having any role in Americans’ health care,” Cornyn, R-Texas, stated. “I do not support Obamacare, and after the events of last week, I cannot support giving the IRS any more responsibility or taxpayer dollars to implement a broken law.”
